Hate to move on from last season (I've probably watched the GF at least 100 times) but rumour has it the full A League fixture for 23/24 will be released this week.

SA NPL Final Series where Adelaide United Youth have made it

Interesting to note the following players are included in the youth squad
Bernardo (19)
Irankunda (17)
Jovanovic (18)
Panashe Madanha (19)
Ethan Cox (19)
Ethan Alagich (19)

Very few ppl from other clubs are complaining and accept this is the way....

A-League Fixture is out. I'm happy as Mariners play at Coopers twice including Round 1.
Bit weird as we would have played AU in 4 games out of the 5.

I've narrowed down my wishlist to go to 15 games out of the 26 rounds. Dunno how the missus will feel about it

Have they actually? where abouts did you see that? Why aren't they allowed to attend?

“#BREAKING: Melbourne Victory fans will be banned from attending Adelaide United games at Coopers Stadium until further notice due to ongoing safety concerns.

Only Adelaide United members and ticket holders with an SA postcode will be allowed entry.

It comes after fans stormed the pitch and attacked an opposing team’s goalkeeper last year. #9News”

Can't say I'm suprised or worried, every pub in the area was full of cops when Victory games were on, they're a disgrace.

Only issues I've encountered at Coopers is things thrown at the Away Bay from United fans as they open up the bay above it to AU fans quite often. I've always found security easy to deal with and pleasant as an Away supporter there though.

What a ridiculous decision. The venue manager has released a nonsense statement as well.

It's not as if these issues are unique to Victory supporters, or games against the Victory anyway. If you want to eliminate safety concerns why not just ban everyone?

How are they going to tell if you're a Victory supporter though...

So United's double-up games are Central Coast and Macarthur (twice each at home) and Victory and Western (twice each away). Hopefully this is the last year of having an unbalanced draw (two new teams are intended to join the league next season).

Last year they did a pretty good job for the one-off game where Victory fans were banned - there were only about half a dozen. I think the idea is you can't buy a ticket online with a Victorian address or something. I think it's more that there's not going to be an away section, so any Victory supporters who attend with have to roam in with everyone else.

Unless the standard in some of those countries has improved vastly, this should be a good opportunity for the Mariners and even Macarthur to progress deep.

Yep, the standard is utter garbage in most of those leagues. Will be some big scores if we are serious but being the second string Cup I’d doubt we send full squads over at the cost of league form.

And they have reversed the decision now anyway it seems

Dammit, the Mariners away game in Bali is the week I go back to work after leave in November. #-o
Now to see if I can negotiate another week!

Could be Macarthur's best chance at winning a trophy. Not sure about the timing of matches but if I were them I'd probably play full strength squads (unless already qualified).

Yeah there's going to be no breaks for games in Asia so can see some ordinary lineups happening.
