AUTD 1 MIAMI 2 + JOHN KOSMINA

Postby mal » Wed Oct 18, 2006 12:33 am

Tonight I witnessed one of the best spectacles I have ever
seen at soccer, there was a player out there tonight who
was sensational, it was Little FeMALe, my girl who represented
Modbury in the junior soccer game at half time.[1-1 draw]

A/UTD.... 1
MIAMI..... 2

High standard game, Adeladie dominated the first half hour and
deserved the 1-0 lead as they created several opportunities.
The Miami boys looked slow and jetlagged, in particlar number 11
the great Romario who at 40 years old was struggling.
The champ was hobbling before the game started, but as only a
champ could do turned back the clock and got the equaliser at 1-1
The visitors by now started maximising thier superior skill level
and asserted some dominance.
The 2nd half belonged to the visitors who produced some dazzling
skills to win 1-2, Romario was denied a 2nd goal to a dubious offside call.
Number 21 [?] produced a lightning left foot strike for the winning goal.
Nice game a fair result
The players kicked soccer balls into the crowd and the kids were stoked.

JOHN KOSMINA

When every player had gone John was there by the players race signing
autographs for the kiddies.
Little FeMALe got the prized signature on her white shirt, and we scored
a photo of her with the coach.

It was a great night for the kids in the Modbury Group, my biggest
nightmare is that Little FeMALe wants too go again to see AD/ UTD. play.

Kosmina handed four-game ban

October 18, 2006 ADELAIDE United coach John Kosmina has been suspended for four games for grabbing Melbourne captain Kevin Muscat by the throat last weekend.

Kosmina was automatically suspended for one game after being expelled from the technical area at Telstra Dome in Melbourne last weekend.

He was given an additional five-match suspension following a disciplinary hearing in Sydney tonight, but two of the games were suspended along with an undisclosed fine.

Kosmina refused to comment after the hearing at Football Federation Australia headquarters.

SD Says

What a disgrace, two games would of been sufficient, I wish the league had the same amount of balls when penalising players,

What I don't get is Kosi gets four games for what he does and all Muscat gets is a silly little yellow card. The FFA have to get some (soccer) balls and do something about what Muscat did. You can't give one person 4 games and let the other pretty much get away with it. What would happen if we let people get away with murder and the like.

As most people know I dislike Adelaide United and have no time for Kosmina as the guy is a cock smoker BUT having said that, the fact that Muscat got off and Kosmina copped this for doing something anyone in the same position would have done is an absolute bloody disgrace.
If Muscat had knocked me out of my chair like that he would have been decked, pure and simple.
Hate to think how many games I would have copped. :?

Also Muscat is the type of player who would have known exactly what they were doing.
