HIT FOR SIX
--------------

KOSMINA BANISHED IN HISTORIC RULING.
Daniel Lato
Soccer Writer

Adelaide Utd coach John Kosmina was last night handed the A-Leagues lengthiest ban at a Football Federation Australia disciplinary hearing in Sydney.
Kosmina copped a suspension for a total of 6 matches for violent conduct, with 2 of those suspended on condition of future good behaviour.......
Kosmina was sanctioned for an 87th minute clash with Muscat inside the Adelaide United technical area at Telstra Doom on Sunday.
The balled rolled out for a Melb. Victory throw-in directly to the feet of Kosmina in his chair.
As the United coach bent forward to pick up the ball from the ground,Muscat,shirt-fronted him and knocked him sprawling to the ground.
Kosmina then jumped to his feet to remonstrate with Muscat and grabbed the player by the throat as the 2 exchanged heated words.
In a critical moment, the referee Matthew Breeze then booked Muscat ad sent Kosmina from the field of play......

Mals verdict
--------------

Having seen the incident repeatedly between Muscat and Kosmina I have no doubt
Muscat slid uncontrollably on that disgaceful cow paddock of an oval

How can Muscat get away with pushing an official inside the technical area?

That's what I'm trying to get at, Kosi gets 4 games and Muscat gets away with it, the FFA need to get some (soccer) balls and do something about him. Sorry about the ball thing, but that's the only way I can get things across.

looking at tonight's match you have to wonder how much of a penalty is it when you are banishing a coach to the stands

all the preperation is done during the week, and the coach still gets the opportunity to address the players prior to the game and at half time

considering all other football league coaches watch from the stands, this might give Kosi a better outlook on the game, maybe after 4 weeks he might see the benefits from coaching on match day from the stands

my opinion. the 4 games is like getting hit over the hands with a wet bus ticket

Adel Utd 1, FFA 0
