What is going on with Kossie and Adelaide at the moment. We can't seem to score and some of the coaching decisions have been questionable at best! Bringing on Van Dommelle who is a defender, arguably one of the weakest players on United's list, when we are 1-0 and in search of a goal is just beyond me.

Got to agree, some of Kossie's selections this year have been somewhat odd to say the least ... Last night we paid the price for wasted opportunities given we should have put 1 if not 2 into the net in the first half.

For all the disrespect he receives, United could learn plenty from Mori ... His work ethic is outstanding and our players seem to lack the ability to work hard to provide options for teammates with the ball ... The fact that our slickest play for the night came from a combination of Petta, Burns and Djite was probably another indicator that many in our team, despite great careers, are too old, slow, lazy and unimaginative!

Also, can anyone tell me why the following occurs at home games:

1. There are no instant replays after incidents (freekicks, cards etc)?

2. So-called supporters throw bottles on the field?

3. The ground announcer doesn't announce the time to be added in the first half?

4. Our supporter group sings Barmy Army songs?

Agree with all mentioned above, left the ground very confused last night, aswell as dissapointed, plenty of chances, the best probably fell to Burns, he just lacked the composure to finish. First substitution was mind boggling, don't know what Kosmina was trying to achieve with that, and then left it to late for the second and third subs to make an impact, especially when some guys were out on their feet 15 minutes into the second half. Petta deserves more than 10 mins to make an impact, and clearly Kosmina does not want to move away from his mate in Veart, who I think could be crawling and wouldn't be substituted.

CP I think the FFA has a ruling that no contensious refereeing decisions can be replayed live at the ground for fear of inciting the crowd.

Big game next Sunday now.

3. The ground announcer doesn't announce the time to be added in the first half? (Does once every 3-4 games)

4. Our supporter group sings Barmy Army songs? (Easy to pick up and sound better than alot of the others going around)

The other question on the songs is.....

Why do the Barmy Army sing songs that are football songs????

Another thought:

A home town touch for a chant is this -

We are the greatest and you hate it!

Inspired by a lyric on the Hilltop Hoods Hard Road album.

Looks pretty ordinary in print, but if you listen to the album, you'll see what I mean about how effective it could be if chanted over and over.

Plus - it would be a nice touch cos it's Adelaide inspired.
