duce, we are never going to agree on whether your mob spent millions on players, and whether your mob was struggling in crippling debt before the silver spooner came along to bail you out.

we are never going to agree whether arsenal has or hasnt spent millions on building a new stadium or youth development or whateever,

your just leading us both up a garden path mate

I IMO believe along with alot of others think that before the silver spooner arrived at stamford bridge that chelsea were close to falling into the wilderness like leeds united, and alot on your side dont believe it.

How just stating a fact again since roman has come along we have paid players high amounts of money then we where before and paying for higher transfer fees again just a fact, Arsenal did that from 2000-now (Sol Campbell being one of you first high money moves) so that would be when you compare just at about 2005 your manager decided to spend more on the youth program and upgrade that to world class quality also your club built its brand new stadium. Arsene has be told many times he has plenty of money to spend in the windows but decides not to try and find a bargin etc. Roman not only has spent plenty on players transfers and wages, but chelsea have completely upgraded there youth program, completely built word class training facilites and we apparently have just bought the battersea power station and are looking to put a 60,000 seated world class stadium there.....so I would say just because you manager wont spend the cash to win things now and this 5 year development of the team etc has lasted 7 years dont be upset because we have just the money and done what we needed to do.
