Just joking Bully, he is a fantastic player. Would welcome him to United if he ever wanted to move though

Serious question .. The way things have been going (and seem to be continuing that way), are you confident you'll always be a "Big Boy"

unfortunatly man utd will be, and by the looks are getting themsleves clear of debt slowly. They will always be a big boy club due to the fact they are the biggest and well knwon club in the world. They dont have to spend like man city as players are knocking the doors down to play for them..if they have one or two season where they dont go so great that may change. When fergie goes, that may happen. This guy cant be around forever!!

Yes
Wont have the money of Shiteh or Chavski to blow on players but will still have enough to fund the arrival 1 or 2 decent players each season. Still have a huge packed out stadium with waiting lists of 15 years to get season tickets and we still have that worldwide market.
Worst case scenerio is that Glazer goes under or sells out, some Arab billionaire will purchase us in 5 minutes.
The EPL will become just like the SPL with Rangers and Celtics, there are only 3 clubs that will win the EPL over the next 20 years, the rest are playing for CL and Europa spots. Thats sad but without some sort of Salary or squad cap nothing will change

That is the key, huge decision to be made when the time comes. We cant afford to turn into a City or Chelsea and change managers every 5 minutes. City have had 19 managers since Fergie has been at United

Yep, good points Bully and Jim and I agree, I guess I just wondered Jim, if you'd ever had any worrying thoughts about the future.

Man U's "brand" would have to be absolutely destroyed for it to happen I think, and I can't see it ever happening.

big shoes to fill when he goes,

god i wish, god i wish they had of lost that FA cup game against southampton, that he won with the last kick of the game basically all those years ago where they were tipping he was going to be sacked if Man utd didnt win that game in 1990 after the result what or where they would be today.....( think it was against southampton , it was definatly a cup game where he was nearly out on his arse )

Was Forest in the 3rd Round.
I remember at the time that Howard Kendall who was in charge of City at the time was approached to take over if Fergie lost that day

A lot of sides struggle against them. They are quite tight at the back and can absorb plenty of pressure before hitting you on the break. Definately more attack minded since Laudrup took over.
Never easy to go there and win

I see your Arsenal and raise you a Liverpool :? We struggle massively against Swansea, same with Tottenham these days who I reckon have beaten us in every EPL fixture for about 3 years.

Hurry up Aussie Rules season!!!

starting to really **** me off the way the club has gone. love it to death but im more grey then normal lately. Wenger has come out after the game as supposidly said " If you dont want to pay &65 pounds to watch us play, dont support us". Basically piss off if you dont like it. I agree if you dont like move on, but a few rumours that fans are going to start boycotting the games more and more due to the "4th position is good enough".

Big rumours that a middle east company is in the process of making a bid for Arsenal in the next few weeks. Rumours that the owner has more money then the man shitty owners at the moment.

Club and board members seem to be very interested in it, more so to finally pay off the stadium, (still 90million owed), and be able to compete again with the mancs.

On this day in 1998, it was the game at OT when overmars scored to win us the game there, that turned the way of the league to Arsenal, we went on and won every game after this match at OT, and became EPL Champions (over hauling a 13 point deficit from Man Utd )
