Inb answer to your questions Mal,
Yes
No
Dunno how much EPL you get over there, but can assure you, Man U won the EPL on merit. As for penalties, and Chelski complaining, that was just Moroniho media seeking clap trap. Chelski actually had 4 more panalties through the year than Man U.
I am not a fan of either, but from a nuetral perspective, Man U played the better football, and were just too good. Chelski lost the EPL, Man U didn't win it. In house squabbles 2 months before the end of the season, cost the Stamford Bridge outfit the title. They just dropped too many points. Moroniho fell out with Roman the Russian, who was accused of interfering with team tactics too often. Injuries didn't help the cause, but at the end of the day, Chelski have too many individual stars this year.
I have watched most of the games played by Man U and Chelski this season and United are definitely the better team, winning with plenty in the tank, whereas Chelski have lost that flair of the last couple of years and only stayed with MU for so long, by grinding out dull 1 - 0 wins, sometimes with the help of the ref. Chelski have two of the biggest cheats in the EPL (dare I say Europe) in Robben (apt name) and Joe Cole. Their disgraceful antics have won many free kicks around the box, from which Chelski have scored.
Re the FA cup, there is no doubt it was a goal. I have seen it about a dozen times from all angles and in slo mo. Czec definitely pulled the ball to his body and over the line. Like I said in another thread, you can't blame the ref or the linesman as their views were both obscured by United players. Even John Terry said in his aftermatch interview, said it was a goal. The chelski keeper, when asked outright, said only his body crossed the line.
Having said that, the last two games between these two have been utter garbage. Both 0 -0 draws (excluding the extra time goal) and with little or no excitement. Poor advert for the EPL.
