stoke might actually play football now instead of rugby

A stupid decision by Stoke.

You're better off playing 'rugby' in the Premier League than football in the Championship.

Good management is getting the best out of the players at your disposal and adopting the most effective game style to get the necessary results. Tony Pulis did that magnificently well.

It's no good trying to play exotic, bruise-free football like Arsenal with players that don't have the skills to execute it.

If Stoke appoint someone like Roberto Martinez they'll try to play a passing-orientated, attacking style and come unstuck.

Stupid IMO. waste of money totally

Erm I'm pretty sure that one team can't own another team in the English Leagues... and as a fan of one of those low English teams, how does f#ck off sound?

Spot on Jase. You can't own more than one club, or even have an interest in another club

Remember Robert Maxwell. Owned Oxford United then bought Reading. At one point he was trying to merge them into a new club called the Thames Valley Royals as a way of getting round the FA laws
In the end he either sold Oxford or Reading, can't remember which.

This is the whole point about Watford. There is nothing to stop AC Milan from buying Yeovil Town and filling the club with their reserve team all on loan.

I am suprised Chelsea and City haven't already bought a European club each for the same reason
