fa cup 3rd Round

Derby 2 - 2 Sheff Weds
Fulham 1 - 1 Bristol Rovers
Burnley 0 - 2 Arsenal
Luton 1 - 1 Liverpool
Stoke 0 - 0 Newcastle

Stoke very unlucky and put Toons under a lot of pressure and should have got a penalty when Taylor handballed in the box.

Bad luck JTC. Tough gig against the Gunners!

The upsets continue, although Luton and Stoke will have their work cut out away against Liverpool and Newcastle respectively.

Cheers cous. We had one sent off, disgarceful decision, so it was even harder.

I fancy Stoke in the away leg, but Luton must be doomed.

It may have been a different game if that header didn't crash back off the bar early on JTC... brave effort against a class outfit though.

Luton are gone for sure... if they even get to Anfield. They will be delighted just to get the gate receipts from that game as it may save their club. They asked for all of the gate receipts from the home tie but Liverpool said no for some bizarre reason.
Cardiff gave all of the gate receipts to amazing non-leaguers Chasetown. 8) They deserve every penny for the effort they put in to get there and then lead the mighty Bluebirds.

I heard about the Luton ask, but I didn't know about the Bluebirds gesture. Nice one and thumbs up to them.

Postponed three times because of bad weather, this match was worth waiting for. With Hereford’s players suffering from cramp and losing 1-0 to a goal by Malcolm Macdonald, Ronnie Radford’s late 35-yard equaliser sparked an invasion by supporters on the Edgar Street mudbath. And that was before Ricky George hit the extra-time winner to make Hereford the first nonLeague side to defeat a first-division team in 23 years.

Perhaps my favorite goal anywhere ever http://youtube.com/watch?v=sFV-bnqB9HY

Unfortunatly I can't find the preceding 30 seconds which were fantastic as well (wing play and tackle)

Enjoy :D

9 maximum in the last 16. Interesting draw or easy route to the final for the big boys? :?:

I had the pleasure of seeing Spurs beat Reading 1-0 at the Madjeski last night to book a date with Manure in the 4th round in a fortnight.

No pics unfortunately as it was a last minute ticket, but Madjeski is a good stadium for viewing.

It's very humerous as an away fan actually. After going 1-0 up Spurs fans were singing "Spurs are on their way to Wembley..." to which Royals fans replied "You wont win nothing..." with final rebuttal from Spurs fans "F***-ALL, You've never won F***-ALL...." resulting in plenty of home fans sitting in silence or leaving.

Liverpool also bought Rafa some time with a 5-0 drubbing of Luton thanks to a Stevie G hattrick and Babel and Hyypia each bagging a goal.

Other results:

Millwall FC 2 - 1 Walsall FC
West Bromwich Albion FC 2 - 2 (West Bromwich Albion FC won 4 - 3 on penalties. )
Bury FC 2 - 1 Norwich City FC

The following matches were postponed due to waterlogged pitches:
Bristol Rovers FC P - P Fulham FC
Sheffield Wednesday FC P - P Derby County FC
Barnet FC P - P Swindon Town FC

Havant & Waterlooville are off to Liverpool after beating Swansea 4-2!!
What an amazing achievement and it's great to see them do over the jacks.

Cardiff will play Hereford next round after their 1-0 win.

Newcastle thrashed Stoke 4-1.

Man City beat West Ham 1-0.
