especially after there manager says that teams that finish on top with equal points should have a play-off to determine the winner

quite funny how they finished 2 points behind MAN UTD, so his idea of a play-off wouldnt have happened anyway.

Liverpool finished 4th, hopefully a slightly better season that starts in mid August.

Yeah what a fool Avram is, let's have a playoff yay! Even if it went head to head United would have won... but they showed how mentally weak they can be by conceding ANOTHER late goal! They have done that plenty of times this season.

As for Liverpool, next season   how many times have I heard that?

Before 1992/93 mate you will have heard that very term quite often I would imagine.....

Even if LFC have to wait another seven years for the Premier League title it still wouldn't be as long as United had to wait to break the drought.

We are getting closer. Stupid draws in the games at home v Birmingham, Wigan, Spurs, Chelsea (who were given a ridiculous penalty), Villa are what cost us a genuine shot at the league. Fix that next season and the Reds will be in the race at the business end of the season.

Yes but that was a long, long time ago mate. I'm not sure if you are getting closer, maybe points wise but you were out of the title race very early yet again. Man Utd will have won the most league titles by the time Liverpool win their next one.

Wrong topic I know, but Rangers lost to St Petersburg in the UEFA cup in Manchester this week. More than 100,000 Gers fans decended on Manchester for the game.

Just a few idiots RM, all clubs ave em including SANFL. Taken in prportion there was 100k Gers fans there and 99,000 of them behaved themselves.

everyone kept taling about Gers winning thequadruple, now it's the triple...hmmmm. they have 4 games to play this week, Sat, Mon, Thurs, Sat. That's a tough call when 3 of them are SPL games. Celtic have the bird in the bush and imHo, I would rather be in Celtic position than gers. Although i can't see them losing to QoS next week.

They have already played about 4 games in the last 2 weeks or so, the pressure really is on and it will test their depth.

The Russian mob had 3 weeks to prepare for it as the Scottish FA didn't allow Rangers to postpone any games as it would have pushed the season back even further. At least the two English teams in the UCL have time to rest up.

Gers only drew with Motherwell so now Celtic have the upper hand. Gers can't overhaul them with their games in hand, and still have a tough week ahead.

Celtic should win the title.
