Go the Railhawks !!

JTC, the Railhawks play in the same division that Miami FC do. Miami is a sister club to Adelaide United !

Adelaide United played Miami last year/or before and went well...

Burnley should wipe them !

 What happened to my posts.

Posted the 2nd goal by the Railhawks.

then another post about how shite we were etc.

Have no idea what has happened to them.

anyway in a nutshell

Railhawks 2 - 1 Clarets.
they were good, we were shite.

As for our new signings, MacDonald came on did two terrible tackles, within about 5 mins, got booked and never touched the ball after.
Patterson our gun striker, missed two glorious chances, on on the 6 yard line, and couldn't pass a ball to save his life.
Van Der Shaaf, did ok and looks like he can do a job in the mid-field but is not a tackler, and now that Jimmy O'Connor has gone we definitely need a Roy Keane in the middle.

Great to see Micky Duff get a full 90 minutes in and looked his usual solid self, and good to see Borat get 20 minutes, his 1st since cruciate knee ligament surgery, at the beginning of last year.

OK, so their season is april to September so they are match fit and used to playing in that climate, and this was out 1st pre-season friendly of the year, but FFS, they were just the U-23 side, and not even the real Railhawks.

On the positive side, I listened to an interview with one of the co-owners who said they (the Railhawks) were in discussion with Burnley about a formal co-operation between the two clubs, so you never know, we might see a couple of these good talented lads turning up at Turf Moor.

someone said the Railhawks are a sister club to Adelaide Utd, so maybe Burnley will end up in a tryst  Adelaide v Bunley, I would definitely have to see that one
