Gotta agree that Fergie got it wrong. By all accounts, his selections were largely based on promises made to individuals who were left out of last years squad.

Park Ji Sung - What a terrible footballer. He tried, but he's not up to scratch. Why Utd persist and why Fergie would play him is beyond me. He was probably one of Utd's best players and he was rubbish.

Anderson - why does Fergie persist?

Had he played his full strength side from the start, with all players in their regular positions, I'm sure it would have been a more even contest.

Still, it was magic seeing Berba receive a losers medal. Quite fitting really.

Park is not a 'terrible footballer', he is very good but had an off night. He plays pretty well in big games against big teams usually.

Rooney was below par as was Carrick who missed an unusual amount of passes. We should have played two up front and taken the game to Barca... but oh well we will be back next season.

Mate, Park is hopeless. He played probably his best game of the season and look what it got Utd.

He didn't even make the squad last year and look what happened.

Sorry to sound so anti Utd, all the time, but on this one I really, really think Park is terrible.

Carrick is a great player. Very underrated. He had a bad night due to Barca's constant, relentless pressure of whoever was on the ball.

Oshea is another one that was a surprise starter. He's a solid premiership player and a great backup that would start in 16 sides every week. But when it comes to Champions League finals against a who's who of world football, Oshea doesn't go near the pitch unless you're clinging to a 1 goal lead in the 3rd minute of extra time.

As JTC noted, Vidic had a stinker, but had no protection from the midfield. He's had a few stinkers this year and no Utd fan needs reminding of his performance against Pool.

One of my best mates is a big Man U fan, and week after week he vents his frustration on Park and how terrible he thinks he is (mate has a fair football pedigree too).

To be honest I've not really seen enough of him to comment.

Blimey Jack. I knew it was a bit of a book but I didn't think it took over an hour to read ;)

At that hour of the morning John, everything takes longer!
