Amazing how it's hardly been mentioned in reports.
All you read about is Chelsea's "controversial" goal but nothing about Macheda.
Fergies had another whinge too.
An example from the BBC website.

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson was furious after a controversial Didier Drogba goal helped Chelsea to a 2-1 win at Old Trafford.

United's Federico Macheda scored to set up a tense finale, but Drogba's strike, from what appeared to be in an offside position, proved to be a vital winner.

"The linesman was directly in front of him, there was not a soul near him and he gets it wrong," Ferguson insisted.

"In a game of that magnitude, to get that wrong, it's very poor."

I love it aswell smithy, man u can have 15 mintues injury time if they are behind, a penalty at the right time if they need to win the title, goal scored by the opposition not given (tottenham fans know what i am on about), players not sent off when they want, but if it happens to them we will hear about it forever and it also seems only they are aloud to whinge aswell, if that had of been man utd scoring from a offside goal and chelsea had of whinge we would of been told to stop crying, suck it up etc, so i believe something about a geese and gander comes to mind about here.
The problem with Barcelona is that I like fish and chips but they had to turn it into calamari and patatas

correct. but all managers and teams do it. dont get me wrong im not one to stand up for this mob ever but when you get a goal given against you from offside or handball goals etc everyone has a spat. wenger does it also.

but, i have a feeling man utd may struggle without rooney, blackburn away coming, then man city away coming....may be a difficult time for them. may get something from blackburn, but the way man city are playing, i doubt they will get anything from that game.will be a cracker that game also

Thank crickey for that. Check these stats out:

http://www.statbunker.com/football/b...ype=ref_report

Mike Dean has pointed to the spot 16 times in his 26 games.

Compare that to the next two, Clattenburg and Wiley who have awarded 7 pens from their 26 and 24 games respectively.

Mike Dean - Spot happy bastard, especially when it comes to the Sky 4.

I wish there were stats on Howard Webb v Tottenham

Thinking about it a step further, I feel sorry for Mike Dean. He's done his best for Utd over the years dishing out penalties and cards to opposition players.

But this one time he makes a decision (or lack thereof in terms of the Drogba offside goal) and he's banished to the lower leagues.

Better send Fergie some flowers!
