Liverpool never in it after Pukearse got sent off.
He should NEVER be selected again.

Gives away a penalty one week, gets sent off the next! He really is a hack.

He's had plenty of chances Marty.
He can't tackle, highlighted by the past 2 weeks you mentioned.
His passing lacks vision and rather than run to make space he invariably just jogs up the ground.
He needs to be sold. Simply not good enough.
Check out the Top10 thread for my true feelings about his ability. :)

As for Dossena, he won't be at Liverpool next season either.
It's like having a fat Nicholas Cage at left back.
His crossing is appauling.
Aurelio isn't much better but his crossing ability is greater than Dossena's, just a pity Rafa can't trust him to play too many games in a row cause he's injury prone.
Quicker Insua gets back from the Argies the better.

Just watched the highlights of the Forest v Derby game.

Although it pains me, I have to say that Savage was outstanding tonight. and Chris Commons pops up with the winner, a double sickner for the Forest fans.

I have always rate Commons.
So another home tie against Man U awaits Derby, whilst, with any luck (sorry Marty), an away trip to the Emirates for Burnley. I do hope so, never been to the Emirates before and looking forward to another long week end in the capital.

Cheers smithy.

I'm glad you posted that link. otherwise folk might not have believed me.

I slag off Sky but at least they leave the ads until the end of the game.

ITV over here is the main terestrial commercial channel (bit like Channel 10 over ther if memory serves me right), and when it comes to sport, they are pathetic. Unfortunately this year they have FA Cup rights. what a sham.

Actually JTC, while it would be nice to upset Arsenal and continue the FA Cup run, I wouldn't be worried if we do get knocked out. It gives us a chance to concentrate on the league and strengthen our playoff push.

For today maybe JTC, and won't the bluenoses enjoy it to the full. Once Lucas was dismissed it was always going to be a task, particularly with the captain having an early bath with a tight hamstring. I reckon Villa might just have a bit too much for them in the 5th round though.

Overall though it is still better to be a Red. Alive and kicking in the title race and a last 16 date with Real Madrid in the Champions League.

Great to see Everton beat Liverpool late on too. Gerrard out for about a month with a hamstring injury. Liverpool to choke and Chelsea to overtake them in the league in the next month. Gerrard out = Less quality supply for Torres = Less goals!!
It's Somma Time!

Apart from Chelskis un-inspired win over Watford 3 - 1, the 5th round was a bit of a snore. Boro drew 1 -1 with the Hammers, Swansea drew 1 - 1 with Fulham and Sheff U drew 1 -1 with Hull City.

Both Fulham and Hull have home advantage in the replays and despite the good form of the Swans, I would expect both EPL sides to progress.

Derby v Man U ar live on the box, 4:30 kick off (uk time) and currently drawing 0 - 0 after 11 mins. Derby are well on top too. Funny to see Savage dump Ronaldo on his arse, and them give him the finger  .

Cardiff play Arsenal at the Emitates tomorrow night in the 4th round replay, with the Clarest waiting for the winners.

If Cardiff win they play Burnley 25th Feb. If it;s Arsenal, they play 7th March.

18 mins.

Still 0 - 0 but Man U turning the screw now. 6 to 1 shots at goal.

Savage gives a free kick away, 35 mtrs out, Ronaldo takes it and hits the wall, (when I say it hit the wall, translate that into Savages balls  ) Commentators are suggesting that Ronaldo might not have entirely had the goal in his sights.

Speaking of funny things that happened in the cup, did anyone see the streaker at b4st4rd park yesterday. Dumb fat b4st4rd came onto the pitch wearing only a pair of white boxers and a pair of black trainers.

Came on spreading roses on the pitch and then started firing arrows with a little home made bow. Was funny to see.

And what about fatty allardyce, went to catch the ball, but missed it and it went through his legs as he feel flat on his arse. Knob

And what about Rocky Iwantaleave. did anyone see his non celebration after scoring the opener. Scored and then just walked away. No smile, no celebration at all. All very Berbatovesk when he was at Spurs.

Santa Cruz, has made it clear that he wants to leave and as reported on the tv, he is acting like he has spit out his dummy. All looking good for the b4st4rds. Needed a late, late extra time equaliser after Coventry had pulled it back from one down to lead 2 - 1. Coventry have a real chance in the replay imo.

Ronaldo makes it 3 - 0. All Derby can do now is try to stop this being a turkey shoot.

60 mins

Derby have pulled one back and have their tails up. trouble is, as they go forward they are more likely to get caught on the break. Come on Rams.

Debry 1 - 3 Man U
