Hey JTC, just wondering if the cost of your private box would go up if they made the big league?
If so, are you barracking for a loss perhaps?

I think the price is about double but I have already got mine for next year so hoping that it proves to be a bargain as I got it at this years price

Double sounds fair, I hope the Clarets make it, you could onsell your box and make a huge profit if they're in the big league!
Might help pay for those trips to Adelaide for the next few years when the Cocks make the GF. ;)

Clarets are in the unlucky West End
Flight is delayed more than 3 hours, like I need that

That idiot Mike Dean is the ref, another EPL ref

So the bad omens are mounting already and it's only Saturday

It seems Dean being the ref is a more of a bad omen for the Blades:

http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11688_5341821,00.html

Sheffield United boss Kevin Blackwell has hit out at the appointment of Mike Dean to referee the Championship play-off final against Burnley.

Blackwell was unhappy with Dean earlier this season after he harshly sent off Blades defender Matthew Kilgallon in the Sheffield derby at Hillsborough.

Blades boss Blackwell believes handing Dean such a high-profile game puts the official under undue pressure.

"It's not fair on him, me or the club," fumed Blackwell. "Our last meeting was less than amicable and I marked him exceptionally low and yet now he turns up for our biggest game, the biggest club game in the world.

"What will happen if he makes a cock-up on Monday? I'm amazed at the stupidity of it. I'm very, very angry about people who run the game not using their common sense and putting Mike Dean in what could be a very embarrassing position.

"It puts him under pressure. We're going to go to Wembley with 40,000 Sheffield United fans knowing his last performance cost us a result at Hillsborough screaming down his neck.

"That's not fair on Mike Dean or me. There are four or five top referees they could have given the game to. It's a situation they didn't need to create."

  Not sure if Blackwell's comments are stupid or genius. Either way, they will no doubt have an impact on the way Dean referee's the game.

put money on burnley today so they better win ;) .....Was going to be money on Hull vs man united but hull have nearly better odds then man united?? :? $2.35 for a man united win and $2.75 for a hull win. Think the TAB must have worked out that man untied might not be at their best for tonight .

yeah true but dont know with them tho what team fergie will put on the field. Knowing him he will put his seconds on and then they will loose and he will say in the post match interviews that that was all he had available to him at the time. Think Hull can look forward to another year in the premier league.

Sat here in a bar in Leicester sq.
About 20 yards away it has all kicked of with the millwall fans
Police are everywhere
Millwall lost to scum.thorpe today who play in claret and blue
Feeling a tad edgey right now as I have a burnly top on. Hope they recognize which team it is but judging by the state of them and the fact they're millwall fans I doubt it would make much difference

Well only 6 hours to go
No effing sleep last night and guts is churning
Seems like the nation are hoping for a claret win
Articles in the Times, Guardian and Observer all slating Blackwell and barracking for Burnley
Blackwell has spent the week slagging of anything and anyone, paticularly Mike Dean the ref, and Leeds.
Leeds sacked him after he lost the play off final a couple of years back and he hasn't forgiven them
Daft thing is, he is just making himself look like a right twat and piling the pressure on Sheff U and away from Burnley
He is coming over as a manager running scared and looking for excuses before a ball has been kicked

As for me, I ain't saying anything. Nerves are totally shot and anything I say will affect our chance of winning. Decided it's got to be the black socks but now in turmoil about which guernsey to wear. I was going to wear my Wembley 62 one, I took it to Reading but decided not to wear in case I was tempting providence. Now my head is just spinning. I've brought my 1976 guernsey with me (the last time we were in the top flight), my 59/60 season guernsey (the one we will be wearing next season to commerate the 50th championship) and my hooper guernsey that I wore to Reading.
I think I'll let Rita decide then at least I'll have someone to blame if the unthinkable happens

Come on Burnley please please please do it

I wish all the best for you JTC

Im pumped and i don't even go for Burnley, just about to have dinnner, then shave and shower and off to the city to watch the big one.

I don't know how my burnley mate is travelling, he has to work til 8 tonight i imagine he will be a nervous wreck.

Im still undecided on whether i should wear one of his burnley scarfes tonight. Should i?

Mate I remember being at the Borough Market and being in the pub there, when it filled up with skinhead Millwall Ultras. I thought it was quite amusing, but the families around didn't. Their fans are a bloody disgrace, but they did sing and perform in quite a humorous manor until the riot police locked half of them up and moved the other half on.

Hope you got out OK mate. Their shit for brains fans wouldn't know the difference between strips. They're in for the knuckle rather than the football. Idiots.

By the way Johhny, wear the 1976 strip mate. It's an omen. Clarets to come up, I'm 100% convinced.

I've got the Clarets scarfe ready to go down the pub and scream like a schoolchild for Owen's Army tomorrow our time. Soooo bloody excited.

Rip it up at Wembley mate. You'll have a great day and everything's crossed here in Canada for the boys to get over the line.

once again.....

COME ON YOU CLARETS

Good luck big fella!
