Tottenham could be close to making their first signing of the January transfer window having agreed personal terms in principle with Internacional midfielder Sandro.
The 20-year-old Brazilian will cost Spurs in the region of £6million.

There are good reports on this bloke, but I fear he could be another Lucas.

Providing we only pay 6m for him, fine. But if he looks even half as bad as Leiva, we better loan him out to Yoevill ASAP.

In hindsight, that is a ridiculous comment.

I just look at it in comparison to Keane 12m, Pavlyuchenko 14m, Bentley 15m etc.

What a waste of money.

Sad thing is, it's not a ridiculous thing to say when you are a Spurs, Liverpool, City, Chavski etc, only when you are a claret

TOFFEES CONFIRM NEILL EXIT

Everton defender Lucas Neill is to join Turkish club Galatasaray after this weekend's Premier League fixture against Manchester City.

The 31-year-old defender only agreed a one-year deal with the Toffees in September after becoming a free agent when his contract ended at West Ham in the summer, making 15 appearances.

The Australia international admitted he had not been expecting to leave Goodison Park

I'm not sure this is a great move for Neill in the lead up to a World Cup. Moving countries, moving teams and getting used to a new league is a huge disruption. Linking up with the great man Harry may make it a bit easier.

I love the crowds in Turkish football. The Besiktas fans were amazing in their games against Chelski a couple of seasons back.

why? would he be the number 2 or 3? Sorensen is a gun and Simonsen isn't bad either, how old is James? 40 odd?

Good point NG. James is one of those keepers who is brilliant one minute and a liability the next. Much like Jensen at Burnley.

waste of money, we should be looking at strikers who can score goals consistently, dunno why we let Kitson go, he looked ok. Beattie needs to get more game time too...

Forget Beattie. He will be gone by the end of January. Rumours around here are that Blackburn will make a bid for him. He is an ex-b4st4rd and had a good time with them before
