decent performance from city this morning. Liverpool were at no point in the game. Torres looked lost and gerrard not at his best by far.
Johnson for city best game i have seen him play.

Agreed. Perhaps they might gel after all. That was a slick show. Liverpool were all at sea.

I still do think that the Citeh ego's will clash and it'll all fall down at some point.

You'd think so. But after the Arab's treatment of Bellamy, perhaps they will make these guys rot on the bench and playing cup games.

If so, they'll actually do the club more harm than good, as players will hardly want to sign if they're going to be left to rot after 6-12 months in the team.

Got to agree, City looked good value for their 3 - 0 although how much of that was down to them being good or Liverpool being crap, I'm not sure.

Still it makes for good watching, when 64 goals have been scored in the first two rounds, a record, beating the 63 goals scored last year.

1/2 time at Ewood, 1-1.

Arsenal lok like they could score whenever they go forward, but their defence is as shakey as a shakey tree suffering from the shakes on a windy day during an earthquake.

From what I have seen of them, they will not be a serious challenge for the title this year in my opinion
