Just maybe they are now getting used to play with the intensity in both competitions. Now wonder what Arry will do with the team V FC Twenty, would be nice to finish top of our group in Champions League, might just avoid a Barcelona or Real Madrid and perhaps give us a better opportunity to progress to quarters, unfortunately they still have something to play for in Europa League qualification.

Haven't watched the game yet, some of us have to work, but junior YID quoted "we were lucky", look forward to another great replay.

Sums you YIDS up really.... 8)

Not a bad thing to work and be honest, you goons should try it some time.

Must have changed his mind. I heard an interview where he said united will be the only club he would play for in epl.
Dont see what benefit spurs would get, they seem to have a decent squad and play good football, cant see where an over the hill player will make them stronger

Correct Bully.
Harry said during his aftermath interview that he would like to take Beckham on loan and Beckham wants to play for Spurs so I guess it's about tying up a deal that suits Beckham, Spurs and LA

agreed i think beckham is far from the player he was when he was at utd. Like pires at villa at the moment far from the player he was when he was with the gunners.

I think the EPL will be to quick and physical for beckham now

But there are other benefits to having Beckham around. He is a hero and he would give a he'll of a lift to the squad and fans (possibly the thinking behind Harrys thinking) and he would be a good sub to have on the bench. I don't expect for a minute that Harry sees him as an integral piece of the squad.

possibly but can also have the reverse effect where as the other players would be so star struck with his presence or harry could start him in most games and then spurs could become a one man team and rely on him over this period for what? he leaves mid march and it falls into a heap. but maybe it could be a good thing guess we will find out sooner or later what it does

He is a great crowd-puller but spurs dont have any problem filling the lane. Thought he might go to a lower profile club where he can get game time. Heard him the other night mention he wants to play in brazil 2014 and next years euro champs. He isnt going to make the squad if he is on the bench at spurs getting the odd minute here and there.

It worked a treat at BURNLEY when we signed Ian Wright. Sold out all the remaining home games, great atmosphere and lifted the whole team

Then again there was the time we signed Paul Gasgoine

The latest on Beckham

A permission slip from Los Angeles Galaxy seems to be the only thing standing between David Beckham and Tottenham after Harry Redknapp confirmed the midfielder was keen to join on loan.

We might need him Fish with our current injury run, biggest benefactor would be Crouch, centimetre perfect onto the big mans head, who knows he might even score. Badly missing Defoe at the minute. Any other news in the transfer market for the YIDS.

No Beckham, but apparently Arry is after Carroll from the Jordies. Would be a big pickup, really rate the strength of the big fellow and has the goal scoring nack. Not sure the Jordies would be happy, but money talks and Carroll would certainly welcome the opportunity with a big london club.
