Not meaning to take the piss, as I think this might be a genuine concern, but what happens if they miss Europe? Surely the pressure because of that accumulated debt would become immense! Could see them last a season or two without European football but if they further lose the ability to attract stars the banks will start calling.

I'm not suggesting they will go into administration or be relegated but I could see them being in the rather amusing situation of being owned by a Sheik or oil tycoon from the middle east which would be hilarious considering a large chunk of United supporters denigration of how City go about things!!
