Well at least people can't say he is a protected species! What a load of crap, just about every player says that after scoring like you said JTC but it just doesn't get picked up in the mic. This could rule him out of the Cup Semi vs Man City as well which would suck, I would have loved to see Rooney pull another amazing goal out of his arse to sink those rich bastards again.

He said "f**k ya, what what" or something directly into the camera.

Funny, I saw this on Football 365 today:

Football365 wrote:Peace And Love With Harry
Incidentally, Harry Redknapp had his say on the whole thing too.

"Why do these young players have to be so angry with the world?" he said, passing around joss-sticks and wondering why we can't all just be friends, man.

"I don't know why. I respect him [Rooney] as a player but he is a silly boy for what he did and he shouldn't have done it."

Well yes. It's not as if Harry has had a problem losing his rag and swearing on camera, is it?

Language Warning!!

I hope that tosser enjoyed getting belted at the Bernabeu.

As for the Cup Semi it is April 16, or April 17 here which is Sat night/Sun morning - good for us Aussies.

To be fair to him it was no more than you see every week. I think the fact you could here what he was saying and it was directly into the camera that made the difference

Either way, it's pretty bloody stupid lol

He has never been the brightest bloke around, just got a bit excited after leading his team to a comeback win with a hattrick after all the crap he has copped this season. Hopefully he gets the ban reduced to one and he misses the Fulham game only but I doubt that will happen. The FA won't want to be seen backing down from this.

Yeah fair call bud, I think there would be plenty of blokes running around in the EPL with more dollars than sense .. I agree with hoping that the band gets diminished, you always want to see the best players on the pitch.

When you say "all the crap he's been copping", is that from his own fans?

Well he has copped a bit of crap from some fans for wanting to leave the club but also from the media because he hasn't scored too many goals this season. It is disappointing that he will miss the City Semi now as he is in brilliant form at the moment.

Staggers me how quickly champions get "turned on" by media and fans over there .. I guess that comes back to their tabloids which from afar seem pretty vicious and generally hasty.

I know Torres looks a shell of a man at the moment ( :partyman: ), but you whether it's in the EPL or elsewhere you have to back class to rise above a barren spell eventually.

I know they're getting that bit older, but Gerrard and Lampard have really quietened down in performance by their own standards for their clubs in the last season or two, so time and age can be another factor.

As with Rooney, it happens, but you know the cream will always rise to the top.

United lost the appeal so Rooney won't be able to destroy City again. Hopefully Chicharito and Berbatov can get the job done instead.

I agree that the English tabloids are terrible, no wonder their national teams rarely success. They know if they will fail they will get blasted by the press. Torres will probably come good next season, all he really needs is a goal. I had a bad feeling he would break his duck against us in the Champs League, hopefully he doesn't save that for Old Trafford.

United 10 pts clear. Arsenal should cut that back to 7 vs Blackpool though.

4 points clear you mean. you might be 10 points in front but your clear by 4 as we have 2 games in hand over you. if we win both then its 4 points clear. if we lose both then your 10 points clear.

blackpool are difficult away so im not counting my chickens on a win with the form we have been playing with lately

Blimey, it says something when you start calling Blackpool a difficult game.

Not a difficult game when you have the ref on your side!!!!
How the hell did lehmann stay on? Should have been straight red and with no keepers on bench it would have been a differant game. Also blatant penalty 5 minutes after blackpool got back to 2-1, absolute disgrace and the ref should be banned for rest of season.
Only positive is hopefully we beat them at home and lift the title in front of them
