Anyone found an explanation as to why the Steve Gerrard goal was disallowed ?

Kuyt was NOT offside, it was not an indirect free kick and there was no fouls in the box ?

ANYONE PLEASE ??????

I have no idea. I've read reports which have said Kuyt was offside and Torres pushed a defender in the back. It was a poor decision but Liverpool were terrible.

They just can't break down the teams which bring a bus to Anfield, until they find a way to win those games they won't win the league. Granted, they were unlucky with that goal being ruled out, but they had plenty of time after that to find another goal. 20 corners and about 18 were rubbish.

Torres is still yet to find form this year and Keane is a massive waste of money.

i think if anything it was torres was offside, didnt touch the ball but was interfeering with the play in that he was right in front of the keeper.

having said that i heard that the ref called it and and not the linesman on Kuyt being in an offside position. either way poor decision.

Liverpool should be able to beat sides like Stoke obviously however when they have 9 - 10 - 11 players behind the ball the whole game its easier said than done. England struggled against Andorra in the WC qualifiers for exactly the same reason.

Torres has just come back from a hammy and before that hed scored in the league so tho he isnt as sharp as last yr things arent too bad!

u beta arsenal 5-1 in the carling cup or whatever one is was against there youth team. arsenal always kick ur ass in the premier league so u'd mite want to sneak a few ins in there coz a regular fixture will be hard when tottenham are playing in the championship

So you obviously didn't watch, hear or read anything about that match other than look at the score.

I suggest you go back and look at the team sheet and tell me which 1st team players were missing for those games. I counted 2 of the Scums 1st choicers missing, plus obviously Eduardo.

Research before posting rubbish please.

Great game. Burnley were all over Fulham like a rash. Fulham had only two shots all night and both of those came from soft Johnson free kicks. what a tosser that guy is. spent all night diving around the place trying to win free's and sulking when he didn't get them. We were all very disappointed when he got pulled off. As for the scoreling, Fulham were flattered, as it should have been 3 or 4. All this without Thompson who was cup tied and Andresson who was stretchered of early in the 1st half.

Roll on Saturday and another home draw.

OK change the subject  . Yes Spurs have been rubbish this term - nobody is denying that.

Back on topic, the highlight of our 2007/08 season was actually lifting the Carling Cup at Wembley. That's right - lifting a cup - which is something your pathetic bandwagoners paradise of a club has not done since.......er........can't remember actually.
