Yes I have been to Old Trafford mate.

I just find it hilarious that some clown in Adelaide has a laugh that not all United fans are from Manchester.

It's not that not all Man U fans are from Manchester, it's that BUGGER ALL Man U fans are from Manchester.

There would be far less traffic on the M1, M40 and M6 on Saturdays if Utd just played at Wembley.

Of course I did the tour... but I also saw a match too.

Anyway, do you live in Liverpool? Have you ever lived there?

I guess you typed that post while sitting in the Kop end?

I agree with RM here (on most accounts). League cup is basically lowest of a teams priorities but on this occasion being a derby and that Man City have been sprouting off about becoming the biggest club in manchester that it was vital utd went thru in this one. City have about 50 years worth of accomplpishments they need to catch up on before they start talking that cr@p.

As i wrote in another thread i always find it amusing that its only United supporters who are referred to as plastic fans. I seem to notice alot of Liverpool & Arsenal supporters around Adelaide....but no-one seems to question their support origins. Yet if i was living in Adelaide and supported Sunderland that would be ok???

I didn't hear you agreeing with RM when it was Spurs v Arsenal or Spurs v Chelski.

All I recall was 'It's just a mickey mouse cup'...'noboday cares about the League cup'.....

I have explained my genuine allegiances/ties to LFC and the City of Liverpool on more than one occasion RM, so I am not going to go into that again mate. If you like you can reveal why you follow United?

I made a joke before about United's large percentage of southerners, nothing more, nothing less. It wasn't a dig at you.

I have explained why I support United before, and I did take it as a joke MST.. I did laugh after all.

DA did you jump on the bandwagon? Spurs aren't the smallest club around and play in the top flight, surely you could have chosen a smaller London based club. ;)

I started supporting Spurs in '94-'95 after being mesmerised by Jurgen Klinsmann and Teddy sheringham.

Spurs finished mid-table. Hardly a bunch or world beaters to jump on board with.

My choice (as a 12 year old remember) was purely about style and attacking flair rather than 'because they win'. Just think - if I'd jumped on the bandwagon at the time, I'd be a Blackburn fan.

Not saying anyone on here is a bangwagoner or anthing like that BUT

The population of Manchester and Liverpool in the 1920's-1960's must have been well and truly over a 100 trillion at all times, because every Manchester United and Liverpool supporter i have met always have a parent or grandparent who was born in either of those citys (unless the place is like tasmania i guess).

My other favourite

me- "why do you go for Manchester United?"

other person- "all my family is from Manchester"

me- "Why not Man City then?"

other person- "stumble, grunt, stutter, errr............silence"

What's the bet he get's off scott free as Utd always do when it comes to all things disciplinary.

DISGRACEFUL scenes at Old Tartford.
I'm sure he would've preferred a prawn sandwich thrown at him.

WOW, I swear it was a cigarette lighter I saw hit him.
That's shocking behaviour.
The FA should make a stand and chuck them out of the cup.

should be banned for life if these people get caught.

I would doubt whomever it was that threw that bottle would have like it to hit a Man Utd player and ruined that persons career, or the coin that was thrown if it had hit a man utd player in the eye instead of bellamy that is was aimed at. Discraceful behaviour.

And for the record before you all say, if it was an arsenal supporter throwing the coins/bottles i would still say ban him/her/it for life. no one should get away with it.

doubt that would happen, maybe closed doors on another home match for man yoo if it gets that far.

again why should the rest of the supporters suffer over a couple of brainless people that throw things at players. Yes you can get frustrated at opp players, refs, but thats no excuse to do that.
