Spurs take the lead with an absolute thunderbolt from Sandro. Chelsea have had all the play and hit the bar several times, Spurs go forward once and score.

Chelsea level right on half time, absolute disgraceful decision. Gomez spilled a ball and it rolled to the line, about 3/4 of the ball was over the line but no way was it a goal. The linesman was nowhere to be seen and we all know that mariner favours chelsea so suprise, surprise the goal was given. Chelsea deserves to be level have played far superior football to spurs but they dont deserve freebies like that.

Gomez at his best again....

ball didnt cross the line fully but still if Gomez wasnt at his usual best then there would be no debate ;)

Terrible refereeing performance last night. Lampard's shot didn't cross the line and Kalou looked offside, but Chelsea were also denied a penalty.

Spurs don't deserve to make the Champions League again anyway, they are pretty bloody ordinary right now. How Gomes still gets a game for an EPL side I do not know.

Final Scores
Liverpool 3-0 Newcastle
Birmingham 1-1 Wolves
Very dull game at birmingham, the point should be enough to keep them safe but wolves were diabolical. Birmingham down to 10 for over a half and yet wolves didnt attack and didnt have a shot on goal in 2nd half, they dont deserve to stay in league with that kind of showing
