4-4 on the night.
Great game.

3 minutes of injury time and who takes 2 of those wriggling on the ground??????/
The squealing lump of boot polish called Drogba.

Chel$ki want the respect of the football world, but until they learn to stay on their feet more and cut the garbage cheating crap out of their game that is evident every week in most Serie A teams then they won't get it.
Probably sounds a bit bitter after a loss, and I am disappointed, but I don't think I've really exposed anything new about Chel$ki that most didn't already know.

Craig Foster is a to$$er and Lucas is still crap.

Off to work.

All over. Chavski go through to a semi final meeting with Barca.

Great, great game of football tonight.

Liverpool trailing 3 - 1 after the 1st leg, piled on 2 goals in the 1st half to make it 2 - 0 on the night and 3 - 3 on aggregate. Chaelski still held the balance with the away goal but were all over the place and the money was on Liverpool to roll them over.

A different Chelski came out to play in the 2nd half and scored three times to make it 3 - 2 on the night and 6 - 3 on aggregate. At that point it looked all over, but to be fair to them, Liverpool came back and hit two more goals themselves to make it 3 - 4 on the night and 6 - 5 on aggregate with 8 mins to play, but big fat Frank broke the scousers hearts with a 4th and Chelski were through 4 - 4 on the night and 7 - 5 on aggregate.

Great game of football, and to anyone who said "soccer" is boring...........bollocks

Funnly smiffy, I was going to post something similar, when Drogba went down. Blatant time wasting.

I was going to post something on the lines of, Cheating twat Drogba has to go and spoil a great game of football.,

So no, it doesn't sound like sour grapes mate

10 mins gone Ronaldo with an unbelievable shot puts Man U 1 - 0 up.

Sensational goal from maybe 30 yards out. The shooting ability of this guy is incredible. shame he spoils it with his diving antics.

All Mancs after 15 mins.

1/2 Time

Porto 0 - 1 Man U.
United had all of the play for the first 20 mins or so but they let Porto get back into the game. Vidic had a great chance to put United 2 - 0 up before the whislte.

Porto have started pretty well in the second half.

Arseanl 2 - 0 Villareal

Adebayor goaled one, not sure of the other.

Arsenal have a 3 - 1 aggregate lead at the Emirates and Arsenal might well make it more as Villareal push to get back into it.

Adebayor looks dangerous tonight and up for it.

So it's Arsenal v Man U in the semi's. Good wins to both clubs, with Man U' probably being the harder win at Porto.

Arsenal had it easy in the end as they won a bit of a dodgy penalty to make it 3 - 0 on night.

The Villareal player (name escapes me now) got red carded and then went and a bit of a push on the ref so expect a lengthy ban,

Chelski will take on Barca in the other semi. Barca currently 11/8 favs followed by Manu, then Chelski and finally Arsenal at 4/1.

Personally I think the odds are a bit short on Arseanl, even though I think they are a good bet to lift the cup this year.

Their big problem will be injuris anda conjested fixture list. You can expect a rip roarer with Man U, in the all EPL clash.

Be interesting to see whether Manu U, Arsenal and Chelsea all still alive in the 2 big cups + EPL, whether it proves any benefit for Liverpool who now just have the once competition to rest and focus on?

Wouldn't surprise me to see Chelsea get past Barcelona (how often in sport do you seen an upset in the Semi's, as a team plays their GF a week/match early?).

Mr Platini would choke on his food (wouldn't that be a shame) if it were another all-England final ;)

You got that right buddy. Don't be suprised if he doesn't try to come up with a new set of rules to make sure EPL sides can't all get through to the finals.

I know, how about a new rule that all RPL sides must play each other in the groups stage so that only one can go through to the knock out rounds.

What a strike. Personally i think Ronaldo's goal is better then Beckhams against Wimbledon considering the enormity of it (but not quite as good as Giggsy's in the FA cup Semi final replay against Le Arse)

Also i hope that this puts to rest the theory that Ronaldo "bottles" it in big games. Whilst i agree that he probably hasnt played at his very best in some the big games he still has scored in a Champs League Final, important goals at Emirates in the league, dominated a FA Cup final against Arsenal, kicked the spot kick in the penalty shootout to end englands 2006 World cup, and many more.

he is basically hated by anyone that doesnt support United but those are the sort of goals that make this the most popular sport in the world....and provides these sorts of moments more then most.

That was a superb goal by Ronaldo this morning, he was miles out and hit it beautifully. A much better performance by United and a cleansheet... the first for a while after that run of 10 or 11 games without conceding a couple of months back.

United vs Arsenal should be a great tie and it's hard to pick a winner as Arsenal have found some form lately.

Thats probably a fair call, but there's a difference between hate and respect, I don't think even the staunchest Man U hater could deny his talent.

OT I think Bully

Hell of a tough run in for Arsenal, with a game every 3 - 4 days (ish)

Exactly. Gutted I missed it, but 15cms of new snow was too good to pass up.

Saw some highlights and what a game. Just a pity about the result!!

It's been written a LOT, but IMO Stevie G would have been the difference.
