FWIW I reckon you guys will get the job done in Italy and take your place in Group stage, from there who knows what might happen.
Did see that Spurs are favourite for the Europa league with bookies, just imagine if they managed to win it :(

Just heard Nasri first interview and he's going to cop a barrage when Arsenal play Man City. His parting shot was directed at the fans. He crapped on about trophies. Im sick of hearing players go Im leaving for trophies well guess what you have to earn them u dont just rock up and a trophy gets prresented to you! FWits

Its the complete opposite to footy, you build a team go through highs and lows with each other then u have these idiot soccer players who when the going gets tough go off and join a bigger team. Maybe Nasri and the others who leave for trophies should sit down and watch the Thierry Henry DVD might learn something about hard work and rewards.

It's so true and something I've always found odd ... These top tier players obviously (and rightly) rate themselves, but what's the challenge of walking into a ca$hed up club with wall to wall champions, to win a title?

Either they lack integrity or the "want to win titles" line get's trotted out because they're too embarrassed to say "I can earn a $hit load more here"

It doesnt have anything to do with trophies. Its about their pay cheque getting doubled or tripled.

As JK said it would be refeshing just to hear one player say i have left because i will be far better off financially.

I still remember Lucas Neill trying to justify his move from Blackburn to West Ham when he could have gone to Liverpool but at a lower wage but still yet claiming he was moving to West Ham as it was a big club, lots of ambition etc. Yet 2 years later when the money dried up he was off again....this time to a cashed up Turkish side.

I agree with that 100% 3-4 years ago all these players would prob go Man city who? now they go oh la la cash city i dont care about winning I'll get an extra 100k. I hope they look back on their career and go I achieved nothing coz I was worried about money. One way to fix it! SALARY ******* CAP

While I'm at it. I hope the Arsenal fans make Nasri cry on the pitch and some1 wings a buring coin at his head. Lacked class and should take a leaf out of Fabregas' book. You have Fabregas who praised the club for what they done for him and showed class on the pitch by performing when it mattered and then you have Nasri who when it got tough went missing and took a parting shot at the club.

but it always looks greener on the other side

Liverpool have sent Aquilani off to AC Milan on a season long loan, with an option to purchase at the end of the spell.

Not sure it won't leave us a bit thin in the middle at some stage of a long season, but perhaps if things work out it could be the best way to recoup a decent $ for him.

haha we have not had the best of starts and tottenham is still below us in the table :D

if we finished 20th...then that means that tottenham must have gone into administration and the club burnt down ;)...so its not all that bad

its just funny how if Arsenal has a bad start or is going terrible, we can rely on our rivals to be doing worse year in year out.....opps have i spoken to soon as a big weekend coming in the EPL

Steady on mate. wishing someone throws a coin at his head is a bit OTT. That'd be like me wishing Ewood park burnt down.
