Not for quite a while mate...not ever have they spent like others...

If anyone is to complain or whinge about a lack of money during the transfer windows its me... Everton are still competitive on the field with the big money spenders but lack the consistency against the rest of the league teams to get that top 4 finish or Europa League place. Having said that we would have secured a Europa League place had the cup finals turned out a little differently.

The start to our last few seasons has been atrocious and then we come home like a steam train. I am pretty sure we have the upperhand on Man City, happy to be corrected if i am wrong (that might come back to bite me after this weekend). It is not all about the money, it is about the squad you build and the culture/harmony throughout the squad that counts and i think Everton are a perfect example of how to go about business with bugger all funds.

Manchester Shitty once again choke and concede 2 goals in 7 minutes to lose 2-1 to Everton. Spurs and Liverpool can close the gap for the the last CL spot.
Huge match next weekend with Wigan v West Ham with the loser almost certainly relegated

Really felt for Blackpool, that would have probably seen them almost safe.
Spurs threw away a golden chance to get in the CL mix.

3 up now against great rivals WBA. They could stay up after being bottom 3 nearly all season.

Wolves win the derby 3-1 and are now out of relegation zone. It also means West Ham can be relagated this week if they dont grab at least a point

Stoke played well and deserved win, if they play like that next week they will beat the scum in the cup final.
