To go from all the crap we took after the 8-2 by man poo for us to be sitting now in third is a massive turn around. 10 points down 4 weeks ago from third and now one point up.......Cant be happier at this moment. (on top would be happier)

Chelski vs Tottingham this weekend so hopefully its a draw and we can pull further away !!

Happy days :D

I know a "super hoops" supporter who put money on them to win 3-2 this morning  :partyman:

I was driving to work when they went 1-0 up, thought United could still be 4 points clear by the time I arrived, then they threw it away. Bastards.

Now ive heard it all, goes to show being famous helps.
Stoke manager Tony Pulis got caught doing 96mph last year and the demerit points put him over the limit and he was due to lose his license for 6 months. So he goes to court today and his lawyer tells the judge that he cant lose his license because if he has to go with a chaffeur or taxi he cant speak on the phone in privacy regarding football matters, he then states that info could get leaked out and Stoke could get relegated, if Stoke got relegated it would cause financial hardship to the City. The judge decided to slap him with a £2500 fine and no loss of licence

According to reports Roman Abramovich has offered Pep Guardiola £40m per year after tax to take over at the Chavs.
Extraordinary ammount to pay a manager, not sure if he is worth it either. Like to see how he goes without the best player in the world and all the stars at Barca, reckon there would be a million managers who would of won the title with that squad

City drop more points away from home. A shame Stoke couldn't hang on for the win but Crouch scored the goal of the season. Brilliant volley by the big man.

Yep Shiteh are ordinary on the road lately, big chance for us to grab our rightful spot at the top of league against Fulham.
Almost a perfect night with Liverpool embarased by Wigan, Kenny's aura is starting to fade pretty quickly, they copped quite a vocal outburst from the fans at the end of the game.

i am mistaken, crouch is goal of the season now seeing it, followed by artetas .

liverpool......sorry are rubbish!!!

I said when Kenny was appointed manager, it will go no where and will be a shame that a great player/manager like him will be remembered for liverpool falling into the bottom half of the table, and it seems its happening now...

This is probably gonna sound stupid, but Im kinda over Liverpool's crap performances and in an odd way, I'm not at all upset by them.

I was really worried that we would paper over the cracks, and allow the club the opportunity to trot out the usual BS excuses "we weren't far away", "other competitions took their toll", "missing player x hurt", blaa, blaa, blaa.

Our squad is sub-standard, as is our Manager (as much as I love the great man) .. The owners can't hide from these facts and need to fix it.

Arteta's goal was a cracker but Crouch's trumps it, think a lot of people dont understand how hard it is to control the ball and half volley it in a fraction of a second. I always rate goals from open play more than free kicks.
Also agree about Kenny, i said when he was appointed that he had been out of the game too long and his style wouldnt cut it in the modern era. He is great for getting them up for big games and he instills plenty of passion in them against the big enemies but you can only play on passion for so long, when that disappears there isnt much substance left.
JK is probably correct, they need a big cleanout, id think maybe only 2 or 3 players in that squad would get a gig in any of the top 3 sides. Very real danger of Liverpool slipping further down the table and even being overtaken by Everton by seasons end

3 years ago when you beat man utd 4-1 at their ground in the last few games of the season, where you were on top then from memory??? its gone downhill from there IMO!

I dont see liverpool (like us) winning the EPL for many years now....
