Newcastle > Chavski

If I were you, I'd still be concerned about not making the 4.

Toon 2-0 Liverpool.
Liverpool were totally outclassed in all areas, Newcastle could have won by more. Liverpool even had Reina sent off near the end. Top 6 hopes gone.
Spurs 3-1 Jacks. 2 late goals from Adebayor put Spurs back level with Arsenal.

I really hope we have given the league away to focus on the FA Cup otherwise our performances are just embarrassing.

Balotelli up to his antics again. After having a spat with Kolorov over a free kick in the match he got into a tussle with Yaya Toure in the changerooms afterwards. Big brother Kolo had to step in and break it up. It is alledged some players have said its "him or us" at the end of season.

Rovers 0-0 United HT
Hernandez hit the post early and United had a penalty shout late on for handball, probably good decision by ref, a tough one to call.
De Gea made a couple of fine saves aswell

Rovers 0-2 United.
Good win and now 5 points clear. Rovers wont go down on that display, said at Christmas that they have too much quality to be sitting where they are.
We could be 8 points clear by time Shiteh visit Le Arse.
Love the United fans singing that City are cracking :D

yet again, i dont believe Man poo is any better then previous years. I personally think that most teams are laying down or not playing to their best ability when they face Man UTD. To Me, its they are saying 'oh its only Man Utd , so we wont win so why bother trying hard'.

This to me is what is winning them to many games and silverware. Teams need to start standing up to them and stop those tossers winning all the time. Until this changes then they will keep winning!.

I believe this is what has happened to us over previous years, when we were in top 2 for all those seasons teams feared us and that helped alot for games we didnt play so well in, but recent years we have become push overs more so, teams are going out their beliving they can beat us and look what happens. I know managers dont say to their teams, dont play so hard out there today against Man Utd as we wont win anyway, but IMO i can see teams drop a bit from previous weeks form.

(waits for the replys from the Man utd supporters)

I reckon there's a degree of what you're saying Bully that exists, however Man U just have the ultimate "team" culture and belief, and none of the opposing clubs come close to having anywhere near the level of those qualities.

Some of what you say is true but we have a fantastic club culture and are able to get points when we are not playing well.
I think our depth runs far deeper than nearly any side aswell, Rovers played well today but with 15 minutes remaining we were able to bring on Welbeck, Young and Giggs all of whom would be starters at most clubs. Still have guys like Berbatov, Nani, Vidic missing aswell.
Most other clubs simply dont have the depth to go the full 90 minutes against us, its no coincidence that we score plenty of goals in the last 10 minutes when sides are exhausted or have their best players subbed off.
Although we havnt been great this season we are only 3 points off the final tally our great treble winning side achieved and are a chance to break the all time points record

More important saves from De Gea, despite the stuff ups this season he's already played an important part in plenty of points.

As for teams laying down, United have the belief that they can win every game even if they are not playing at their best. Also at this stage of the season they usually go on a long run of wins, they have been through it so many times that the experience definitely helps.

We lost to Blackburn last time at Old Trafford and they are battling relegation now so I don't see why they would want to roll over.

De Gea has been awesome, will be a long term United player IMO.
Rovers didnt roll over today, they were right in it today, we kicked up a gear when Young came on. Absolute luxury to be able to bring on Young, Welbeck and Giggs for the last 20 minutes, we just overwhelmed them at the end, you could see them tiring so the last thing they needed was an injection of pace

Mario Balotelli involved in a car crash overnight, was not injured and apparantly not his fault. Just seems that incidents follow him everywhere, absolute tosser but good to see him unharmed.

as did you when man city beat you 6-1 at your HOME ground ;)

losing 8-2 away from home is bad enough, but to lose 6-1 at your own ground....thats just as bad even worse
