Bully it has always been about who has the most money.
City are no different to any other club who has been successful over the last 40 years.
Uniteds success has been down to money and the amount they could spend , as was Arsenals and Liverpool's before that.

If you think Dalgliesh put on the number 7 shirt for the love of Liverpool or Theiry Henry or Ronaldo, et all then you are kidding yourself.

It's just more pronounced these days. The richest clubs have and always will, get the best players.

It's just City's turn that's all

Still reckon we can win it next year. Fergie has stated that at least 3 new players will be coming in. The Ashley Young deal is close and the sneijder transfer is gathering steam. Need a new keeper and VDS has recommended his dutch counterpart sketelleburg from Ajax. We will get our loanies back, wellbeck and macheda add something plus hargreaves is fit and ready to go. A big plus is the fact vakencia missed 3/4 of the season, his pace abd skill was vital in closing weeks. We are not going to give up the crown easily.
Have read that benzema is possibly heading to Arsenal and Fabregas and Kaka to City

Some very costly results last night. Arsenal losing opens the door for City to grab 3rd and automatic CL spot. City play Stoke in catch up game. This would force Arsenal into CL qualifier and possible force them to some far flung destination and interupt the start of season.
Spurs had a huge win at Liverpool in fight for Europa spot. Big chance of non european football for liverpool next season.

Bully you keep going on about City spending £300m and Arsenal not, but you are missing my point mate. The £300m is irrelevant.

Before the billionaires came on the scene Liverpool, Man U and Arsenal all splashed the cash to get the best players which won them the league titles. Arsenal spent what they had, it's just that they had less than City have today.

If arsenal got took over by an Arab billionaire they would spend £300m just the same. It's been that way since the early seventies and every winner of the league title since, including your beloved Arsenal, have done it on the back of how much money they had to spend to get the best players.

Think you are right Bully. Fairly sure fabragas will be ate Barca and not City. Wenger persuaded him to stay this season but it won't wash again.

Spurs penalty for their 2nd was an absolute joke. Straight forward shoulder charge, which is allowed, and even then it was outside the box.

I watched Torquay v Shrewsbury in the league 1 play off semi last night and how refreshing it was. Good honest football and very well reffed.

No wonder the EPL is so shite with refs blowing for every tackle and players wingeing every time they get tackled. It's a contact sport FFS

Not sure how much of the lower leagues you guys get over there but if you get the chance to watch a game, take it. You will be pleasantly surprised and might get a chance to see how the game should be played

See my post on league 1 playoff last night. Dons v The Posh was live and was one of the best matches ive seen all season. Sure the ref made one shocker of a decision but the football was quality end to end attacking and guys wernt diving or rolling around on the ground sooking. I love watching lower league football and would advise others to check it out

well we get the football league highlights show, 1-2 championship games a week, the occasionaly league 1 and leauge 2 games and during international breakes we get 2 games in both l1 and l2 during those weeks, all the play off games in all 3 leagues, a game in all stages of the carling cup atleast - that all just of fox sports. and on setanta here in aus we get the blue square premier highlights, a game of the week atleast and the playoffs and a game in all satges of the fa cup atleast.

So plently of lower league football if u want to watch it. Personaly I watch as much football as i can and have been watching all the playoffs, plenty of emotions great stuff.
The problem with Barcelona is that I like fish and chips but they had to turn it into calamari and patatas
