heard today the reason that wenger is not pushing for cesc is because cesc has said privately he wants one more year at barca and then will return to arsenal next season

Heard similar except Cesc wants to see proof that Arsenal will spend and they are legitimate contender.
He aint going to leave Barca to go to a 4th or 5th placed side.
Reckon if he sees some positive transfers this season then he will be back at Arsenal next year

so that means no move to the old toilet then ?

I agree with Wenger to a certain extent. There's a difference between spending money and wasting money.

If Arsenal sign nobody this term I'll still be backing them for a top-4 finish. These days, finishing in Europe is equal to 'winning something'.
