Heard similar except Cesc wants to see proof that Arsenal will spend and they are legitimate contender.
He aint going to leave Barca to go to a 4th or 5th placed side.
Reckon if he sees some positive transfers this season then he will be back at Arsenal next year

so that means no move to the old toilet then ? :D

We may not win it but wont finish outside top 3
Its a 3 horse race this season, cant see anyone else getting within 10 points of the top 3.

I agree with Wenger to a certain extent. There's a difference between spending money and wasting money.

If Arsenal sign nobody this term I'll still be backing them for a top-4 finish. These days, finishing in Europe is equal to 'winning something'.
Would you rather win an FA Cup and get relegated or finish 4th in the Premier League?
I know what Wigan supporters would say.

its turning into another RVP saga. RVP stated he wanted to move on and basically refused to sign another deal. monkey man seems to now be doing the same, so the spuds will be forced to do a deal or they will lose out completely with nothing.

At least he will get a guaranteed start in the big games and won't get subbed off at the 60min mark.

Moving to United would be the best thing for his career instead of waiting a few years for Xavi to retire. Especially now they have Neymar.

correct, but he has always stated he wishes to return to us. And not to anyone else in England. We will see how loyal that will be if he does come back
