De Foe on for about 2 mins and scores. All spurs now.

Revised. Final Score Spurs 2 - 2 Sevilla
Sevilla through to the semi's 3 - 4 on aggregate.

Comisserations DA. I kn ow how you feel, getting up at 4:00 am and witness a loss. Very disappointing

VERY disappointed. Why did Jol wait until almost the 70th minute to bring Defoe on?

Life as a Spurs supporter is VERY frustrating.

All I can hope for from this season now is a Uefa cup spot and to beat the gooners on Sat.

COYS!

So does that mean Sunderland are assured of going up now?

birmingham have 4 games left and sunderland and derby have 3 left.

sunderland are 4 points clear of derby and 5 points clear of brum who have a game in hand. both derby and brum can go past sunderland for automatic promotion

MT - then how can the Brummies be one point away if they're four behind us?
I'm a bit confused by your post...

Reulsts update 16th April

Postby johntheclaret » Tue Apr 17, 2007 8:00 am

Sorry about the delay. Up at 5:30 am yesterday to watch the on line Rooster scoreboard. (Great result for the Cocks ) so spent the most of the eveninig asleep on the sofa getting a stiff neck

Anyway,

Tonight 16th April

Liverpool 1 - 2 Man U

FA Cup Sunday 15th April

B4st4rds 1 - 2 Chelski 1 - 1 at full time. Chelski scored winner after 20 mins extra time. Chelski v Man U in FA cup final.

Would just like to say, that Chelski and in particular Joe Cole are a f%^king disgrace and an embarrassment for English football. The way they harrassed the referee after every challenge and the way Cole threw himself on the deck everytime he got within 10 yards of a b4st4rd player  was ridiculous. The referee was at fault, for allowing such bullsh1t shinanigans to continue. On at least 3 occasions, after a Cole theatrical, he gestured to the player to get up and waved play on. Why the f%^k did he not book Cole, only he can answer. Maybe if he had flashed a card when Cole started his impersonation of the dying swan, it might have curtailed it. Very p1ss poor gamesmanship and a poor representation of English soccer IMO.

EPL Sunday 15th April

Everton 2 - 1 Charlton Everton move into 5th (UEFA place) after McFadden scores winner in injury time. Charlton stay 18th
Spurs 3 - 3 Wigan Jol blames fatigue after Spurs fail to beat Wigan. 2 goals by Keane (1 pen)

EPL Table (UEFA run in)

Arsenal 33 59

Everton 34 54
Bolton 35 54

Pompey 34 49
Spurs 33 49
Reading 34 48

EPL Table (Relegation run in)

Wigan 34 35
Fulham 34 35
Sheff U 33 34
Charlton 34 32
Hammers 33 29
Watford 33 23

That would be a massive boon for the A-League I would imagine ... Just guessing, but I'd think there would be more people in Oz familiar with Robbie than say a Romario, just perhaps as a result of the closer coverage the EPL has always received?

Either way, if he does make the move to Sydney I'll definitely be going to watch him when they get here! :D

I'll go to watch Fowler too - That would be amazing!

The Reds should throw their hand in the ring to keep him in familiar colours!

Wonder whether he could influence the Syndey property market in a similar fashion to the suburbs he purchased in and around Liverpool!!!! Smart man!
