Harry's been bashing on about a massive signing in January. Can't recall too many huge deals being done in Jan.

But I really hope he's talking about Edinson Cavani!

It wouldn't surprise me to see Darren Bent go to QPR as has been rumoured.

As a Villa supporter I wouldn't be sorry to see him go provided we get a reasonable percentage back on what we paid for him. He doesn't look interested.

Looks like Bent may be offloaded to fund the arrival of Didier Drogba

Cavani has been linked to the Chavs.
Cant see him leaving a side who is in the last 16 of champions league

Yeah why go for a player who is better than anyone in your midfield, doesn't matter anyway dont really see him leaving london for anywhere but a diffrent country.
The problem with Barcelona is that I like fish and chips but they had to turn it into calamari and patatas

never had anything wrong with lampard. Hes a good midfielder IMO. Would love for him to be at Arsenal.

Very good player but I don't think he has too many years left, United need some young talent.

Yep perhaps not the great EPL player he once was, but still very good.

Liverpool in the same position with Gerrard, except we don't have the bankroll to buy a highly rated starlet to run our midfield for the next 5 years .. Can't see Adam, Henderson, Lucas or Spearing being world class types either, so some hard work from the scouts required.

You guys do have 2 midfielders who are world class, you put them both on loan. I understand Joe Cole didnt have a great year for you guys last season but think that would of changed this season and Adam, Henderson etc will never be half the player Aqualani is he is tearing up at Milian this season and you guys could of really done with him this season aswell, I understand he was injured but was getting into form then season end came and you loaned him and bought adam, henderson at inflated prices.

I dunno about world class, but I did think Acquilani was real quality.
He showed patches of pure genius. I'd have him at Spurs no question.

Do you actually really like Walcock? Really?

He's got nothing but a bit of pace and the odd decent strike. Totally inconsistent. Any LB worth his sal can totally mark him out of the game.

Come to think of it, with Hendersen, Adams, Downing etc preceeding him, Walcock would fit in well at Liverpool.

TBH I wasn't sure if we still had Aqua on loan or had sold him .. Strange decision as you'd think he'd waltz into our lineup.

Wouldn't put JC in the world class category.

But a side that's no chance of winning the CL.

If he came to Spurs, he could be the catalyst for us getting up to lift the title, plus qualify for CL next year. Surely the service he'd get from Bale, Modric and Lennon, plus the scrps from VDV's creativity would be a pretty big carrot.

Geez i reckon they are as much chance as any of the others apart from Barca. Wouldnt be suprised if they beat the Chavs next round. He would be a good fit at any club, genuine class

Few things, 1. cavani is not going to be leaving napoli in january when they are still in the champions league. 2 if he was leaving it would be for another team in the champions league and he is already cup tied. 3. if he is gonna leave it will be in july. personaly i dont see him leaving napoli as he has it quite good there and has shown no wish to leave and napoli pay him fairly well.
