Same as Alardyce.

If West Ham put in a poor performance tonight I reckon they will make a move especially with games against Liverpool, QPR, Man U & Arsenal coming up in the next month.

Seems the way they are talking is "we are back"

Have never been on whirlpool but rest assured we are nowhere near back. QPR are garbage. I will wait to see how we are travelling in a months time against quality opposition before declaring we are back

I watched most of the first 30 minutes, and found it a bit odd. You guys were much better, but still made plenty of mistakes with final touches or errant passes. and Di Maria fit that mold bigtime. QPR were appalling, but it was a bit scary to consider the improvement left in you guys. You'll head in the right direction now.

Hmm I'm too deciding whether to put him in for Augero. But I'm afraid that Augero will score a hat-trick and Costa won't score the week I do it.

Honestly if you could bet on any West Ham signing of a player worth 3m pounds or over having a long term injury within the first month you would be rich.

Andy Carroll
Carl Jenkinson
Kayoute

Watch this space Alex Song to be injured next.

EPL Season 2014/2015

Postby jakovasaurus » Wed Sep 24, 2014 12:18 pm

Kouyaté will be a big loss. Especially seeing we already lose him and Song for ACON later in the season. So more time out isn't handy.

Would love to see Poyet come into that midfield diamond now. Reckon he's perfect type of player for it, if it's not a little too early in his career to step up.

Yeah Poyet would be handy but against the big manchestee clubs may be a little to much so early, I think Sam will push Downing into the middle and play Amafaltina out wide with Sakho and Valencia

Something like

-------------------Adrian-------------------

Jenkinson. Tomkins. Reid. Cresswell

---------------------Song-------------------

-------/Downing--------------- Noble

Valencia................................Amalfatino

................,,,,,,,Sakho-----------------------

they really lacked any creativity and invention moving into the final third, they dont seem to have a player to play the final ball of any quality. the only shot on target they had was from Jaanmat from 25 yards, Colback should have scored late on but smashed the crossbar from 4 yards out.

on the flip side Stoke were a bit frustrating, our problem is finishing. we won from a Peter Crouch header but apart from that effort had 24 shots with 3 on target, not good enough!

Moses looks very good for us and is extremely lively and has a few tricks in his locker, on the counter he is great, his pace and trickery works very well
I love Arnautovic too, he seems to be complacent and nonchalont at times but has great technical ability and wicked crosses (when he gets the chance). he also had two great shots, one was a rocket that Dummet jumped in the way of and the other was a volley that hit the upright flush with Krul comprehensively beaten
Whelan i'm not sold on, he's an angry dwarf in the holding midfield spot and i think N'Zonzi should go back there, let Diouf play at Crouch's feet with Arnie on the right and moses on the left... but who am i anyway? Diouf pulled up lame with a hamstring 20mins in so there might be a forced change.
I am not talking to you for 3 minutes because you punched me in the head and it hurt and that was not okay for you to do

ozil out for 3 months

goes to germany, and the specialists there say he has had a knee injury for the past 2 months and this is the reason he has been out of form.

English specialists apparently never picked it up
