Villa 2 Pompey 1
Blackburn 1 West Ham 1
Bolton 3 Wigan 1
Chelsea 3 Sunderland 0
Everton 2 Fulham 0
Man United 5 Derby 0
Middlesborough 1 Arsenal 3
Newcastle 3 Birmingham 1
Reading 1 Liverpool 1
Tottenham 3 Man City 2

Sorry C-P. More trumpet blowing but JTC = 9 United took care of Fulham on Monday. Only the mighty Spurs let me down, although IMO the referee played a bigger part in that game than either of the teams.

Reckon this game is the toughest to forecast. Both teams evenly matched in the percentages. Newcastle on their downers, Brum on their uppers with a new manager (although that bubble will burst soon enough as they needed an awful lot of help from the ref last week. Newcastle have home advantage, if thats what you can call it having lost 2 on the bounce by big marhins at St James's. A draw for me but this one really could go either way IMO

My stab:

Aston Villa 1 - 0 Portsmouth
Blackburn 2 - 0 West Ham
Bolton 1 - 0 Wigan
Chelsea 2 - 0 Sunderland
Everton 2 - 1 Fulham (Badgers to go 1 up in first half, then lose AGAIN in the 2nd)
Man United 5 - 0 Derby (Ronaldo and Tevez to run riot)
Middlesboro 0 - 3 Arsenal ( :( )
Newcastle 0 - 0 Birmingham (Both these sides are terrible IMO unless Dowd is ref, in which case Brum are 2 goal better side  . Who am I to talk sitting not so pretty in 16th!)
Reading 0 - 4 Liverpool (Torres to continue pouring them in)
Tottenham 1 - 2 Man City (I'll be :( 'ing on Sunday again I think)

On Spurs, We've scored 25 goals this season, however on Sundday, players Responsible for 13 of them will be in the terraces. Most notably Keano ( 8 ) , Bale ( 2 ) and Kaboul ( 2 ) . Think we may struggle to find an avenue to goal unless Berbatov and Bent sort it out.

Good call Bulldog. Villa 1 - 3 Pompey. Started will a lucky own goal and a great hit by Muntari, Villa had all the play and got hit by the sucker punch. Another Muntari classic and it was all over bar the shouting. Villa pulled one back with a Barry penalty and piled on the pressure with a host of free kicks and corners, but pompey came closest to scoring with 2 or 3 good breaks from defence into the open spaces.

Was going to put up a post at 70 mins into the Pompey Villa game saying Portsmouth were all over the Villains, but to their credit, the boys in claret  and blue fought back, but to little avail. Was very funny after Barry's penalty when he was running back to the centre with the ball in hand and the Pompey player ripped it off him. Barry flattened him with a hip n shoulder and both players got a talking to from the ref  . Comedy!
