99% certain Berbatov will still be a Spur in Feb.

After his performance last night (and the last couple of weeks), it will take 35m quid+ to land him.

Cheers JTC

Berbatov leaving Spurs is unlikely I would think, now that DeFoe is free to leave.

Well, Roman has yet again shown the depth of his pockets....

http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528, ... 66,00.html

Anelka to Chelski for 15m squids making him the most expensive (cumulative) player in history. Sheesh some clubs have wasted some coin on the moody Frenchman. Arsenal and Bolton have also made packets!

I think he'll go alright with Coinsky (starting tomorrow unfortunately :( ), that is until Drogba returns at which point Anelka will be great for their ressies!

Other news, which I think will turn out to be absolute bollox is that Real Madrid have made an approach for Ronaldo. No firm leads or numbers mentioned, but 100m plus wouldn't be enough IMO.

SJABC, looks like your boys will have Mile Sterjovski by Friday.

I hope he gets a regular run and goes alright.

Great to see another aussie in the EPL.

Pablo Aimar........word on the unreliable street is that Aimar is coming* to Anfield when the sale of Sissoko goes through to Juve....
A fair swap I reckon if it happens........Aimar is a GUN.

I read on another forum from a lad who knows more about the continental leagues than I do who mentioned Aimar is not as good as he once was. He used to be a superstar and would still be a decent player not doubt, but his form has dipped. He would still be an unbelievable signing though and I think Torres would love to play in the same side as Pablo.

RAMS DEBT FREE !

Won't post all the details, here's the link

http://www.dcfc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/Ne ... 42,00.html

But in a nutshell Derby have been bought by GSE, which was apparently the conglomerate that
wanted to by Man City, but failed.
From what I've heard/read the deal involves wiping off 40m debt, and positioning Derby
County as a player in the EPL, as opposed to a team destined to spend it's life in the CCC.

Good news as IMO once the off field stuff is under control, finances are secure, debts cleared,
stadium kept in good nick etc, then the club can focus on player and on field success.

I dare say the Rams will be looking for a strong squad in the end of season transfer window in a move
to go straight back to the EPL, where as until this announcement, the money and resources just has not been there.

They have a great supporter base in the County and region, and get great support every week even when
a flogging is on the cards.

Good work Derby... :D
