Bit pessimistic CP.....Boro don't travel well IMO. Plus Rafa could use Keano to strengthen the backline with his defensive abilities.

Rarely back my own teams in any sport mate ... Boro put 2 in at Anfield last year and it was only a Torres treble that got us the points, so I reckon they might fancy themselves at the trip.

Sorry fellas. Have been away all week so the tipping comp is a bit skew up to now. Just keep putting in the tips and I promise I will catch up.

C_P. Haven't even started the spreadsheet yet, just not enough time due to work. I will do it this week, promise.

Haven't seen any results except I heard the b4st4rds drew with Hull so you have a head start already.

OK, after a very dodgy start, maybe we could start it from this week. Was away last week so I missed 2 Saturdays kind of.

There are plenty of weeks to go at and plenty of combinations so it will still be interesting. Apologies about the false start

Bolton Wanderers 1 v West Brom 1 - Don't rate Bolton, so I think Mowbray will pick up his first EPL point in this one.
Everton 1 v Portsmouth 0 - Portsmouth have been terrible.
Hull City 2 v Wigan Athletic 2 - Wigan have only beaten Hull at the KC once - back in 1981 when both sides were in Division 4
Middlesbrough 2 v Stoke City 0
West Ham United 2 v Blackburn Rovers 2
Arsenal 1 v Newcastle United 0 - A boring 1-0 to the Arsenal. They don't seem to have the flair they had last year.
Chavski 3 v Tottenham Hotspur 1 - 10 goals were scored in the 2 games last year (I saw 8 of them :D ) unfortunately it will be more conceding than scoring against the Chav's this season for us.
Sunderland 2 v Manchester City 0
Aston Villa 2 v Liverpool 1 - Match of the round IMO. This will be a cracker. Villa's pacey strikers will cause havoc for Liverpool if Villa can control the midfield.

Good double header on Sunday with Chavski v Spurs and Villa v Scouse.
