Not that it's much to go by, but if Michael Owen's body language or comments (that Ive read) in the media are anything to go by, I reckon he's out of Toonsville as soon as his contract expires

Funny you should mention that CP. In todays papers, Owen is being linked with a move back to Anfield, possibly even in January. His current contract at Toon expires in Summer and if he was staying, he'd have signed a new deal by now. So that puts Kinnear in a pickle - does he take a nominal fee for Owen in Jan and bolster his defence to stay up, given the Duke will be back - OR - does he hang onto owen and hope for more goals out of him than they ship through their swiss cheese defence?

He's netted 8 times in 14 games this term. For probably somewhere in the vacinity of £3-£5m + £120k per week, Rafa could pick up a proven gem.

Alternatively, he can have Darren Bent for £120m

Rafa also said that he wouldn't bring back Robbie Fowler, so anything's possible.

And we called Berbatov the incredible sulk (actually Berbasulk). Has he started chucking the toys outta the pram after being dropped?

TBH, I haven't had a chance to see him play much this term. He was known for the odd tanty if subbed. Even took his shirt off and checked when subbed under Jol - not cool.

Actually, that's quite amusing considering he's only on loan at Wigan.
I'm sure a high enough bid at his Egyptian club will see him at another EPL club.
While he's looked fantastic at times, there's still a touch of doubt over him in terms of being a half season wonder. Hossam Ghaly looked outstanding at times too, at others he was unbelievably bad.

Hmmm, funnily enough watching the game v Stoke on the weekend, I reckon Heskey was just the kind of frontman we needed to content with their bigger bodies ... That said, I can't see too many other opponents I think he'd be suitable for.

I like the big fella and have been glad to see he's been doing well at Wigan, but I think it would be a backward step for us (although signing him on a Bosman doesn't necessarily mean he'll receive much playing time).
