There was a stabbing during the violence outside the ground, bricks were thrown, fires were lit...

May sound stupid, but is there a way that they can have two teams simply banned from playing each other, i understand if they both made the final they would have to meet but unless it's a final surely they could be banned from playing each other.

I mean we are on the other side of the world and most people saw this coming.

Do you think the Green Street Houligans movie has wrongly enhanced the image of these supporters meaning more nuetrals jump on the wagon and go simply for the punch up.

I doubt any neutrals would have been involved.

The best thing the FA could do is simply ban all fans and play the game as a lockout at a neutral location. It's happened before in Europe as punishment for violence between various fans.

No, these people did those things before that movie and even if the movie was never made they would still do it, they hate each other and nothing will ever stop it them fighting each other
The problem with Barcelona is that I like fish and chips but they had to turn it into calamari and patatas

A few snipets of the crap going on in and around Upton Park:

Eyewitness Fergal O'Brien said: "I saw a West Ham fan getting punched in the face by a burly bald man who had a coin between his fists."

Ben Newton, from Harrow, north London, said his father had been stretchered away after being hit with a dart to the head.

From a Spurs fan...My mate just text me and said that fans are mixed and people are running around the concourse with knives !

Three pitch invasions, opposition players threatened by supporters, objects thrown at players, stabbings (BBC are reporting 2 so far) and fighting in and outside of the ground. Surely the FA or Football League will kick West Ham out for this.

A brick thrown by one of the fighting fans narrowly missed a pregnant woman.

Millwall players being threatened by shirtless knuckle draggers coming on to the pitch.

According to Sky News West Ham fans are still fighting police at the tube station.

What was bad also was the West Ham players running to the corners where there was trouble to celebrate the goals.

Incite the crowd a bit more 'ey lads......

It wasn't easy for the rich kids but SWP and Tevez both scored to send City through 0-2.

To be honest mate, Rafa won't give a toss about the Carling Cup, so I'd imagine Pool will field their 3rd side.
