Welcome back Bully, knew you couldn't stay away forever. AND the Carling is the only thing we have won in a few, but I would put it a long way behind CL qualification, especially for us clubs that don't go there that often (ever). I think if the big clubs manage to make semi's then they start to take seriously, not every day you get the chance to play at a packed Wembley.

agreed yes when big clubs get to semis then things are taken seriously which doesnt say much for some of the other sides if the bigger clubs take it serious when they are one or two games away from winning.

But we have ipswich not an easy game

and no i missed the banter between the gunners and the spuds so couldnt stay away just needed a break

Bully, I think whatever team the big guns, MU, Chelski or you mob put on the park are always going to be competitive because you just have to have the depth, even though not well known players, to continue year after year to achieve the results you do. I think the EPL this year has been great because of the many surprises thrown up each week. I think that is where the lower clubs have the issues, best team = competitive, injuries = they struggle, whereas the big guns just replace one international with another because they have to have the depth for the amount of football they are playing. Us YIDS are in the transition stage, Arry is trying to build his squad to the big guns level, obviously with backing of Levy and board, to get there we need the bigger stadium to generate the income and another world class striker. I remain ever hopeful.

Well here starts the FA Cup for the premier league clubs.

Looking forward to some of the games and cant wait for Arsenals Game against Leeds at home. We havent had many home games in FA cup recently so will be a good match at home for us . Hope wenger feilds a strong team and not the usual weaker side

I reckon he'll field a team with a mix of youth and experience. Should be a good game. Can't wait! :)

What a big game for Liverpool tomorrow. If they dont win against Man Utd which they wont then Roy will be a goner IMO.

Massive Massive game for both clubs but more so Liverpool considering their position at the moment

Ah that sux, you pay extra for the sport on Foxtel, that's exactly what you should get ALL the sport channels.
Was looking forward to the Man U v Liverpool clash

I think you might be right. United have no interest in the FA cup and will field a team of Juniors. Hodgson will see the FA Cup as his only chance of Europe this year and will go all out for it

agreed you should get all sports packages but with setanta its not part of foxtel so you have to pay extra. Any other sports channel except Fox sports you need to pay extra like ESPN, Eurosport. I was going to do away with setanta but seen as the FA cup is on there i might keep it for a little bit longer
