Hammer V Lions
Rams v Forest
Clarets v Blackpool
Foxes v Sky Blues

21,102 at the season opener for the M69 derby was a poor crowd considering Leicester sent 6000 travelling fans but Cov fans are fearing a poor season so did not turn up in great numbers. Should draw a decent crowd at the Kingpower Stadium later in the season depending on the form and postion in the table of both clubs?

Not a lot of goals so far this round, interestingly 6 of the 10 games were won 1-0 by the away sides.
Only 3 sides yet to drop a point in Southampton, Brighton and Derby.
4 sides yet to register a point in Doncaster, Coventry, Leeds and Bristol City

Cardiff nutted 3-1 by Brighton at home. Interesting to see 2 promoted sides undefeated and sitting 1 and 2 on table.
Derby are also undefeated.
Have picked Southampton as champions and Brighton to make playoffs but must say I was surprised in the way they easily dispatched Cardiff, only a last minute penalty to Cardiff avoided a drubbing

No argument from me on that. The board have a total lack of ambition and that has been obvious from the day we won promotion to the EPL
Club is effectively broke and we are shipping players out to raise funds.
The board have taken all their loans out, sold the ground back to the club and show no intent in reinvesting any of the parachute $$$

I'm perplexed. The side has a journeyman look; the "marquee" signing is Kevin Kilbane on loan. :?

IMO Derby won't make the top 6. But they have made a teriffic start.
It's shaping up to be a very interesting Championship this season. Pretty exciting actually 8)

With Brighton dropping points Southampton and Derby are the only sides with a perfect record and sit clear on top.
