Owen is tearing Leeds apart
2-0 United.
One of the strongest United sides ive ever seen in the Carling Cup.
Starling line up : Owen, Macheda, Berbatov, Giggs, Park, Valencia, Carrick, Fabio, Diouf, Fryers, Amos.
Would think that that side would beat half the sides in the EPL

wouldnt think owen was tearing leeds apart as the first goal he fluffed and was lucky it went in.Also giggs goal was fantastic skill but got a lucky deflection. But yes you beat them thank god.

I'm confused. You're saying Spurs being one of the top 4 sides are now out?

How the mighty have fallen. I remember when I thought the CC was a big deal

Even though Brighton lost this morning I was very impressed with them. Liverpool put a strong side on the park and Brighton dominated them in the second half. Poyet has them playing a good style and they have a couple of genuine class young players that EPL sides would be looking at. Havnt seen them play much this season but if thats their game style its not hard to see why they are near the top of the league. The new stadium and pitch looked a treat and they definately look like a club on the way up. Who knows they could be in the EPL this time next season
