Won't be this season michael. Leeds got a 15 point deduction for the start after losing their appeal.

They thought they found a loophole by going into liquidation on the last game last year, by taking a 10 point deduction after already being relegated but with Bates taking over again after being in charge when the went bust, has let the FA back in to hand out another deduction.

Leeds will have to get around 70 points to avoid relegation, 90+ to have a hope of a playoff and 105+ to win promotion. It just ain't gonna happen. They have lost all of their best players in the close season, haven't been allowed to sign any new ones until the buyback was completed and ain't got any dosh.

One big thing in their favour is their fan base. League 1 isn't going to know what has hit them. We (Burnley) played Leeds last week in a freindly. The Clarets were far too good for Leeds and could have won 4 - 0, never mind the 2 - 0 we won by. but even though it was just a freindly, Leeds brought around 2,000 fans, who sang from start to finish. This will be a big help to the team this year IMO.

BTW, most of their songs were along the lines of being Chelski in disguise, Chelski of the North and Bates is a w4nker.

Not a great start May-z. Saints knocked out of the Carling Cup tonight. Just watched the highlights and to be fair Posh deserved the win. This on the back of a terrible 1st game. Woould you like to pick another shirt  or will the ccc version be ok for next year :)

OK fella's.

Time is up. Transfer window is now officially closed. there were 350 transfers done on the last day, with Fulham, the most active re the EPL.

I am going to lock this thread until the window opens again in January, but will put all the tips onto a spreadsheet and keep the comp updated on here, week by week (ish).

Oh, by the way, just to keep it interesting, you can only change 1 team from the top six and one from the bottom 3, come January.

OK fella's

Here is a list of those selections

Tipster Top 2nd 3rd 4th 5th 6th 18th 19th 20th

JTC Man U Liverpool Chelski Spurs Arsenal Newcastle Boro Birmingham Derby
SJABC Man U Liverpool Chelski Spurs Arsenal Everton Derby Wigan Birmingham
MAY-Z Chelski Man U Liverpool Arsenal Spurs Newcastle Fulham Wigan Derby
michael Chelski Man U Liverpool Arsenal Spurs Newcastle Wigan Birmingham Derby
DA Man U Chelski Liverpool Spurs Arsenal Everton Boro Wigan Derby
Sam Man U West Ham Chelski Arsenal Liverpool Spurs Birmingham Wigan Man C
dinglinga Man U Chelski Newcastle Liverpool Arsenal West Ham Reading Sunderland Derby
McAlmanac Man U Chelski Liverpool Spurs Newcastle Everton Wigan Birmingham Derby
Swooper16 Chelski Man U Liverpool Arsenal Newcastle Man C Birmingham Derby Wigan
C_P Chelski Man U Liverpool Arsenal Newcastle Spurs Boro Derby Wigan
The Real No3 Man U Liverpool Chelski Spurs Arsenal Blackburn Wigan Reading Derby

and here is the table so far

Selector Points
SJABC 10
MAY-Z 10
DA 10
JTC 9
michael 9
McAlmanac 9
The Real No3 9
Sam 8
dinglinga 8
Swooper16 8
C_P 7

I've unlocked the topic so you have until the transfer window closes to make your changes.

Remember though, you can only substitute 1 from the top 6 and 1 from the bottom 3.
You can't change the positions of your selectionis, you are stuck with them and the substitutions you make must be direct swaps for your selected teams in a like for like position.

A shirt is still on offer for the winner.

In the event of a draw, the 1st one to pick a correct forecast will be deemed the winner. For example, if two players end with 10 points, the first on to score 3 points for their selection will be the winner starting from position 1 through to 6, so if player 1 picked Man U to finish 1st and they do, whilst player 2 selected Chelski to finish 1st, then player 1 wins.

Bottom three
18. Derby County :(
19. Wigan.
20. Birmingham...REPLACE WITH FULHAM

JTC if I win, can you get me a EPL replica not the CCC when we get relegated !!

OK here is my FINAL table.

Piss off the Coys (DA  ) and replace with Man City. That'd give me the CURRENT top six teams.
Get Wigan out and swap with Fulham. I can see Sunderland surviving and Birmingham falling back into the relegation zone.
If only pride allowed me to put Derby bottom I would've picked up a couple of extra points...

Take 2 for me (What the hell was I thinking....Spurs in the top 4 - typical Spurs fan!)

1. Man U
2. Chelski
3. Arsenal
4. Liverpool
5. Everton
6. Aston Villa

7. Man City
-------
18. Wigan
19. Sunderland
20. Derby

For some reason, I think Fulham will stay up. If matches were called off at half time, they'd be in the top 4!!!

Ok times up. For all those who changed, i've updated the table. My changes were Everton for Spurs and Fulham for Birmingham. Those that didn't, tough.
DA, I don't think you understood the rules.

You can only change one team from the top six and one team from the bottom 3. It must be a direct like fo like change for the team you want to de-select.

Just look at the other posts and you'll see what I mean.

Just to be fair and reasonable, i'll give you another day to chose. Unless I get an objection from any of the other players.
