Pretty sure Berbatov will be at Man U. they have even delayed the team phote, appaerntly so he can be included.

Henry to Man U just isn't going to happen. If he ever comes back to the UK it will be either with the Gunners or, depending how long he leaves it, with a minor EPL side for the $$$$.

Ruud Gullit has left LA Galaxy. perhaps a coaching role for Beckham ??

Agree JTC, Spurs forum ITK's are sayng the deal is done and will be announced Friday at the latest. I doubt Fregie will put up with the crap he dished out at times at Spurs. He'll be great for Utd though unfortunately.

Berbatov will be an intersting signing (provided Utd get him). In many ways reminds me of Van Nistelrooy but is a better passer so can be used in attacking moves (not just finishing like RVN) which i guess makes him more like Cantona. Will be interested to see how he handles playing from the bench tho as i am not sure he will be guaranteed a starting spot when ronaldo, Rooney & Tevez are all fit.

Swooper, Berbatov is better than Tevez and Rooney. Man U are retarded for paying £32m for Tevez and bumbling over Brebatov.

The only reason they would be doing this is Berba's hissy fit factor IMO as you're right - it will be interesting to see how he handles sitting on the bench. He will spend time on the bench because no man (other than a GK) can play the 70+ games Utd play each year. But Berba will be in a Utd best 11 IMO. Step aside Mr Tevez!

The Black Cats have just completed the signings of David Healy from Fulham and former Liverpool player Djibril Cisse from Marseille.

Roy Keane has done some very good business this year. Let's hope his signings take at least 1 weekd to gel though

Not sure what the hell is going on but I totally missed the fact that Adriy Shevchenko has been sold back to AC Milan for 19 million squid rising to 23 if he is top scorer in Serie A this year.

The best bit is that Roman Abramovich has said that Shevchenko was his best invesment.  Not sure what school of finance Roman studied at, but lets weigh things up:

Investment Company worth something like US$40 billion providing a lifestyle beyond comprehension

VERSUS

A 29 year old footballer who cost 32m quid and scored 22 goals in 72 games with a residual value of 19m quid at a loss of 13m quid

I know which I' be calling my best investment Roman. Keep your silly comments to yourself in future.

The Abu Dhabi Investment group previously linked to a Liverpool takeover (the DIC - anyone else recall the banner held up at Anfield last season supporting a DIC takeover which read 'One DIC is better than two' ) have taken over Man City after Shinawatra was forced to sell after having his assets frozen.

In other Man City transfer news, after signing Paulo zabaletta, they have finally agreed the transfer of Vedran Corluka to Spurs. :D

HOt off the press.

Berbatov has just signed for Man U

After a late bid from Man City, Dimitar Berbatov has finally put pen to paper for Man Utd.

Spanish reports claim Manchester City have agreed a 40million euros (£32.5m) deal with Real Madrid for Robinho. Chelsea have been leading the chase for the Brazilian striker, who has insisted he wants to play for the West London giants. Real have stood firm insisting that they did not want to sell Robinho and have refused numerous Chelsea offers in recent weeks.Chelsea have, though, maintained confidence that they would seal a deal for the 24-year-old.

But now Man City - with new financial clout provided by their Middle East based new owners Abu Dhabi - have come straight in to offer the valuation Real placed on Robinho. Television station La Cadena Ser, together with leading publications Marca and AS, have stated the agreement with City - which represents a British transfer record - is in place.

Everton have completed the signing of Louis Saha after the Frenchman successfully passed a medical. Manchester United accepted an undisclosed fee for the injury-prone striker last week and he has now made his switch to Goodison Park.
Saha has agreed a two-year contract with the Toffees, with the option of a further 12 months.
David Moyes has endured a frustrating summer in the transfer market, but Saha's arrival will boost the Everton boss' attacking options.

Manchester City have lodged bids for Valencia's David Villa and Stuttgart's Mario Gomez.
The Blues have already seen an offer of over £30million accepted for Tottenham striker Dimitar Berbatov, but have made approaches for a further two attacking talents. With Berbatov also believed to be in discussions with Manchester United, and Real Madrid thought to have entered the race for the Bulgarian, City are keen to keep their options open.

Los Che star Villa, who won the Golden Boot at Euro 2008 this summer, has been the centre of transfer speculation all summer, but had appeared to have accepted that his future lay in Spain. Meanwhile, Gomez shot to prominence after scoring 28 goals for Stuttgart last season, immediately signalling him out as one of Europe's hottest properties.

Agree Robinho deal and wages has gone passed stupid, it's criminal.

Are Citeh wealthier than QPR? I think Mittal is the 5th richest man in the world. He's obviously a damn sight smarter with his money.

THink so. Thats what was just reported. apparently the Abu Dahbi money makes Abramovich look like loose change. Remeber we are talking about prince abu dahbi and his entire entourage.

Hate to think how deep their pockets must be. Wasn't it the same bunch who tried to buy Liverpool a couple of years back ??

I thought the same thing RM. No wonder Timmy Cahill is struggling to get back on the pitch if the Everton medical staff are making judgements like this!!

Good to see United pick up Berbatov. certainly about 5 million over priced but i think he will be a gem. Sir has an impeccable record working with these enigmatic types of players as they soon find out that Manchester United club are much much bigger then a single player.

Also on Robinho i have a feeling he could well be the biggest flop in premier league history. I cant recall him ever doing all that much at Real or for brazil. And there arent too many brazilians who have excelled in the premier league....especially considering he has gone from Santos to Real to Manchester. Good luck enjoying the sunshine...!!

The fact that City made a massive big for Berbatov AND United are down on strikers was guaranteed to boost his price up. Spurs would be laughing at that, well it will cheer them up anyway. I agree that Robinho is a bit overrated, his hype doesn't really match his performance so far.

Fergie managed to work with King Eric so Berbatov will be a walk in the park. ;)
