i dont see you mentioning or talking about the fortunate or soft penalty your side was given in this mornings game. the west ham player clearly got the ball.

oh you must have forgotten about that already.

thats cause this is the 5 seasons of trophy-less football thread. you might find it in the we can win the league back to back thread and i havent forgotten nothing so put you claws away sweet heart and get your tissues out so you can cry about yet another wasted season.

so do you want to start the thread where your side went 20-25 years, (However long it was and who cares) that your side went without winning a major trophy or should i?

well your more than welcome, league title was 50 years 1954/55-2004/05, fa cup was 27 years 1970-1997, league cup was 23 years 1965-1998 and cup winner cup was also 27 years 1971-1998.
The problem with Barcelona is that I like fish and chips but they had to turn it into calamari and patatas

yeah, and can any mod change the tottenham thread to we cant hold a manager for more then 18 months thread, or we cant beat our closest rivals in the premier league for more then 9 years thread.

or how about we change the chelsea thread to we couldnt win a major trophy for more then 20 years.

its quite sad listening to tottenham supporters go on about how they won a carling cup. thats all u have to show for in how many years? i find it laugable that a tottenham fan can say anything to an arsenal fan when they have beaten them once in 20 years. in a cmpetition whch most clubs go pffft to anyway. sad

no unfortunatly they beat us in 1999 at highbury, but that was the last time the beat us in the premier league. And a certain Ilduce tends to have a dig at arsenal everytime he is on here. But i spose when you have a silver spooner that owns chelsea and buys the world to get them actually winning then he can say that.

Just like to remind you chelsea had won the fa cup, league cup and cup winners cup all without roman it all started with a certian player manager know as Glenn Hoddle, even though we never won a title with him, it was he that introduced sexy football (the style your club now plays) into chelsea which was then carried on by Ruud Gulit which we did win thropys with and then continued again with Gianluca Vialli which we won 4 cups with, so we didnt need Roman but it has certianly helped.

Also I have always hated Arsenal we are ment to thats what rivals do hate each other, doesnt mean that I dont respiect some of the achievments that Arsenal have earned or some of your previous players (e.g. I hate Tony Adams but had great respect for his playing abilty). It's just every now and then Arsenal fans need to recive some of the own medicine that they use to dish out and Arsenal fans need to be put back into there place (just not as much as scousers or man utd fans)

OK, I'll be the one to rise to it. personally, I'm not a fan of Man U, I don't like Ferguson and i find the whole bloody outfit arrogant but......

To say no one likes them or thier suporters doesn't quite ring true mate. Man U are "probably" the best supported side on the planet. In any country anywhere, you willl see someone wearing a Man U shirt, and my personal experience, whenever i'm abroad and talk to a local about football, or even where I come from, the fist thing they say is "Ah yes, Manchester United". I guess many people don't like them b ecause they have been so successful for so long. Fergie is without doubt the greatest manager in English football and whilst you love to hate him, you have to have respect for the guy. Same goes for Man U too. The bastards ;)

yes they are succesful. and congrats to them, but i still dont like them. As alot of people dont like my team Arsenal, and i can understand it but i also didnt like man utd before they started winning everything in the late 80s, early 90s. when i say everything i mean premier league and others, it was 26 years before the first premier league season that they won that they had gone with out winning the div 1/premier league championship? i aslo was a liverpool supporter back then, and i changed to arsenal for reasons but that was years ago.

i personally dont care if i run into man utd supporters that i meet at taverns/pubs etc i just hate it when they think they have been winning everything for the start of last century, which MOST of them think so that havent really looked into the history of the english divisons, alot of these supporters i have met dont even realise that man utd were relegated not to long ago.and alot of these supporters have just jumped on the band wagon.

i know that roostermarty will see this and come on here and voice his comments on what i have just said but its a forum and its a free country.
