If you get the chance, check out Tommy Huddlestone's goal in the first half v Bolton. Absolute screamer.

He's got a sweet peg on him the Hudd!!

I've just been given some juicy heresay:

Michael Bloomberg is looking at a sponsorhip deal involving naming rights for Spurs' new stadium. It rumors are confirmed (unlikely at this stage IMO), it will be the largest stadium sponsorhip deal in the UK.

'The Bloomberg White Hart Lane'

I like it.

Santander are reportedly lining up as Spurs next shirt sponsor, which is terrible news given the red in their logo. We'll take the cash though!

Good news for spurs about new stadium sponsor. Big game tommorrow morning. Hope Lennon plays for he is the difference I think in being a good team and a great team. I think Harry will go for win although draw is probably good enough. Have made some real good improvements this year and beaten all top teams except man utd. dont concede as many goals and should be in FA Cup final. Dont know how we lost against Pompey. Looking forward to getting up and watching game in morning. Go spurs

Show us the money!

It'll always be know as simply 'White Hart Lane' to the fans.

That is good then as I don't think 'Bloomberg' goes well with anything!

I will still call it WHL regardless, just like Footy Park etc.

The game tomorrow morning is the most important in our recent history. The pain of Lasagna gate still hurts, but that can all be relieved with a win.

The thought of Bale and Lennon on the wings is mouthwatering - Zabaletta must be having nightmares!!

We are suspect up front at the moment though. Defoe cannot score against the big sides and especially away from the Lane. Pav is missing glorious chances left right and centre. Crouch is crouch. That leaves Eidur, who isn't fit enough to play 90.

Gomes is an injury concern, but I think he'll be right. I think we'll line up with:

Gomes
Kaboul King Dawson Ekotto
Lennon Palacios Huddlestone Bale
Modric
Pav

Having said that, a 4-5-1 has been tried this season and failed, so we could line up with:

Gomes
Kaboul King Dawson Bale
Lennon Palacios Huddlestone Modric
Pav/Crouch Defoe

Ekotto could miss out as he's a risk of giving away a pen. Crouch is a better partner for Defoe, but we play rubbish long ball football when he's in the side.

Anyway, whoever lines up COME ON YOU SPURS!!!

I'm bricking it about tomorrow. there have been so many false dawns. So much promise and such little delivery. Spurs just LOOOOOOOOOOVE to get into this sort of position, get your hopes up and then crush you to pieces. I just really want to get the business done tomorrow so we can enjoy the last game of the season. I think we can do it. The sides are very even. Since 1981 we've got the wood on the oilers big time, but this time round it's different.

Anyway, here's hoping for a massive win and a true Glory day for the THFC!!

COME ON YOU SPURS!!!!

Bit of superstition here:

A mod on a Spurs forum has caused numerous curses by photoshopping various players into Smurfs. His latest is Tevez. I thought I'd spread the curse to bring the oilers unstuck:

Image

Victims to date:

Danny Murphy - he started with a couple of screamers at Spurs, but quickly let it be known that he was shiessen.
Dimitar Berbatoss - was awarded the smurf hat when he made the move to the Mancs - the rest is history!
Gio Dos Sants - not sure why he got the hat, but he turned to crap pretty quickly.
Didier Zokora - i think the hat was awarded as a kind of reverse omen to see him score a goal for Spurs. It didn't work and he now holds a record for most games played as a midfielder without a goal.
Andrei Arshavin - Awarded the hat at the start of this season. He's been rubbish since!

Here's hoping it works on Tevez at 4:30am!

0-0 at half time in the massive game at Eastlands.

King scored a perfectly legit goal, but was ruled to have fouled. To make matters worse, Johnson handballed King's header on the line and should have been sent off.

Man Citeh have bossed the midfield, but Spurs have had better chances.

Bale had a cracking strike go just wide and Crouch hit the upright with a good header.

Citeh have forced one great save grom Gomes, but generally Spurs are defending well.

I'd say it's probably 52-48 in favour of citeh at half time. I'd be VERY surprised if this ends goal-less.

Still a bit blurry eyed. Great result for spurs. Although it was only 1-0 plenty of goal action. They played really well and deserved the win. I see you are happy to Devils.
Looking forward to the champions league next year. Would be great to see Robbie Keane back but realise he wants game time.
At this stage I cant see anywhere where we really need to improve. Maybe a Brazilian midfielder or Tevez. Gee hes a great player. Argentina are going to score a few
goals at world cup with him and messi. Devils you should start up an adelaide spurs supporters group. Do you reckon there are enough
spurs fans in adelaide to make it worth while. I reckon there would be. :D

Nice work for screwing up SAFooty DA.

You guys still need to win a Qualifying tie but barring a choke you should beat whoever you draw.

I hope Tevez and City enjoy the Europa League with Liverpool next season.

Remember, we have Sandro (Brazilian midfielder) coming our way in summer in a deal that's already been done. He's VERY highly rated and is a hulk of a man, but
until he starts performing, I'm not getting too excited as what we've got has done the job this year.

On the Adelaide Spurs group, there is a chapter of OZSpurs, although I don't think it's a roaring success. Personally, I'd love to do it, but really don't have time.
Plus, I'm not really the ideal leader of a supporter group. I'm way too passionate and get carried away too often, which would lead to trouble and riots in Hindley!

I can't wipe the smile off my face and quite frankly, don't want to!

My bad. Got a bit excited there!

We're unseeded for our CL qualifyer, so could meet the likes of Sevila, Ajax etc. But I'm confident we can make the group stages.

Check this out - it proves you Mancs do have a sense of humor:

I know, sorry mate. Spurs were my first love.

Now that their fate is sealed, the Clarets can surely bend over for us just to stick it up Arsene and prevent St Totteringhams day in 2010?

Don't worry though mate, I'll always have a soft spot for the Clarets. I'll get back up to Turf Moor one day too. That was one of the best days of my entire time OS!! (And whoever wins the tipping comp shold get straight on a plane because that's an AWESOME prize!!)
