Nothing will come of this especially after we just knocked them out if the cup. Was reading a story about the only way he will stay is if United can sign another world class player in the summer and there was talk of a 50 million pound bid for Modric. Do think it will be hard to lure him away from Spurs unless they do happen to drop down the table and miss Champions league, which looks very unlikely to happen.

But I really hope he's talking about Edinson Cavani!

Cavani has been linked to the Chavs.
Cant see him leaving a side who is in the last 16 of champions league

But a side that's no chance of winning the CL.
If he came to Spurs, he could be the catalyst for us getting up to lift the title, plus qualify for CL next year. Surely the service he'd get from Bale, Modric and Lennon, plus the scrps from VDV's creativity would be a pretty big carrot.

Reckon we can beat chelasea and then get a good draw and anything is possible
Anyway he is NOT going anywhere.

Yeah Rooney has came out and stated the rift is between him and the owners not him and Fergie. Appantly he has met with Joel Glazer during the week and told him that he would seek a transfer if the club didnt pick up a world class player at seasons end. Its believed he was told the club would spend over £100m in offseason. Sneijder was mentioned but it is also thought that a 50-60m bid for Modric will be tabled.
Berbatov's sale should help balance the books, United have had some interest, reportadly around the 35-40m mark by an Italian club and a cashed up PSG

Rooney kissed his badge after scoring this morning so it's obvious he still loves the club. Hopefully his whinging can help us bring players in. ;)

Apparently we are in talks to bring Cantona back for a 2 month spell so that should help ease his fears.

Liverpool looks in the box seat to grab another Newcastle striker with Demba Ba reported to be high on their target list.
Frank Lampard has been told to go, as long as its not to another EPL club, he has already knocked back an offer in the MLS. May end up with former boss Ancelotti at PSG

I reckon he is class.
Great skills and decent pace but his physical presence is huge.
Nothing better than a strong striker who can create havoc inside the box.
Appears to be great on both pegs aswell.
Id piss off Carroll tomorrow and sign him up.
Heard Liverpool are interested in Eric Abidal aswell, decent defender getting on a bit though. Cant see him leaving Barca although he is out of contract. Barca stuck by him last year when he had a liver tumour removed so he might feel he owes them.
BTW LOL at Carroll, told my scouser mate last year that he is a dud, wasnt the right fit for you guys but you were so desperate to replace Torres you jumped at the first striker that came along

Agree on Ba's quality. He's the real deal.

However, the reason he wasn't snapped up by the big boys is that he's failed 2 medicals previously based on his bung knee. Apparently it was thought that he couldn't last season with the big boys. Pardew took a punt and it's paid mega dividends so far.

Lampard isnt fat anymore.
Its a nickname that started when he first started playing as a young lad at West Ham many years ago, he was quite chubby. The Fat Frank title has stuck with him
