At -37, your breath freezes in your mouth and nose. It feels like you have sand up your nose, but it's actually ice particles attaching to your nose hairs.
It's difficult to blink as the moisture in your eyes feels like it's freezing.
If you don't have a base layer on, your skin goes bright red and stings like sunburn.
I had long hair in Canada and if I left home with it wet in anything under -20, it would be frozen solid by the time I got to work.
Then there's the constant battle to keep toes and fingers warm.
But I wouldn't hesitat in going back tomorrow.
