Cardiff and Swansea both had wins and are just 1 pt outside an auto promotion spot now (after 2nd place Norwich lost to the Jacks).

Decision on QPR due after May 1st which is ridiculous.

Incidentally Hereford have just been deducted 3 points for fielding an ineligible player. The FA effectively deducted all the points Hereford won whilst using the ineligible player (1 game 1 win).

They also deducted 1 point from Exeter City for the same reason although Exeter didn't actually win the one game they fielded their ineligible player.

Now considering QPR have been fielding this player for more than two years, you could expect a pretty hefty points deduction.

How bad would it be to have two Welsh sides in the EPL :( might as well let the Scots in

If Swansea can hit some form away from home they should go up in second spot. Norwich have a few tough games coming up.

Big round this morning. Reading on 7 match winning streak have moved to within 3 points of automatic promotion, I said they looked the goods a few weeks back and they are really finishing with a rush. Bad loss for leedsgoing down 2-1 to Derby. All 3 goals came in 5 minute period, Derby should be safe now but loss very costly for leeds with forest back on their heels. Burnley lost 2-0 to forest after playing a man down for an hour, they held out to about 20 minutes from end apparantly. JTC was the send off justified? was it straight red or couple of yellows?

Leeds

:finga: :finga:

For a team travelling shit, to pull in the 2 biggest crowds the past 2 games days speaks for the loyalty of Derby fans....

Leeds will struggle to make the playoffs now.
Saw this interesting stat for us this season..

‎3 pm KO's : W 13 D 7 L 2 = 2.1 pts per game
non 3 pm KO's: W 4 D 6 L 10 = 0.9 pts per game

3 of the last 5 matches are non 3pm kickoffs.. :?

Swansea or Reading to snatch second i reckon.

Two home games in a row for Leeds.. Watford and Reading. Must win them now..

Straight red Pidge and yes it was justified. He went for a 50/50 ball but was about 3 minutes late.

Bartley is NOT to CCC standard. Light weight, too slow and doesn't read the game that well. If he is the standard that Howe is looking for or can afford then we will be a competitive league 1 side at best.

Massive game that, Forest have really fallen in a hole recently they were 2nd themselves not long ago.

Hopefully Burnley can take a point tonight vs the Jacks, surely Cardiff will beat Pompey at home as well.

Big round last night, well done to Burnley to come from a goal down to beat Swansea 2-1. Reading won their 8th straight thrashing Leicester 3-1 and Leeds could only manage a 2-2 draw with Watford, all 4 goals came in last 15 minutes. Cardiff easily disposed of Portsmouth 3-0 and Sheffield United look doomed after falling 3-1 to fellow strugglers PNE.
Burnley can get back to within 2 points of playoff spot if they win their game in hand.

We were very lucky in the 1st half Jim. Swans hit the woodwork twice wit Jensen frozen to the spot.

Their goal was about 2 yards offside and the linesman had a shocker all day.

Clarets deserved the win though and had Swansea under the pump for most of the 2nd half. best performance in a while for Burnley, and congrats to Alexander who clocked up his 1,000th league appearance. Nearly celebrated it with a goal too after a stunning free kick and an equally stunnig save from the swans keeper.

Boro on Tuesday night, win that and we are in with a shout, but it is still in leeds own hands.

Of course 7th might be enough to get us into the play off's should QPR get a big enough deduction. My gut feeling is they will either get off scott free or a big enough deduction to put tem into the PO's

I think they have to have their report / reply in by 1st May.

As usual the knobs over at FA HQ will screw it up and create a bigger mess than it already is.
