Hearing rumours about the owners of liverpool must come up with $100 million pounds to pay off some debt before the end of march?

Maybe seeing Man City have offered $140 million for torres and gerrard they might look long and hard at this fee

What was Liverpool on this morning? What a turnaround. Look what happens when Lucas is out of the side!!!!

The commentators did mention that Rafa would no doubt bring Lucas and Kuyt back in for the weekend. (I hope he does!!! )

Liverpool looked a different side this morning. While it wasn't Portsmouth's best effort for the year (and the opening goal was diabolical goal keeping and defending), Liverpool were outstanding. There were 4 or 5 passages of play where the Reds passed the ball around like Barcelona or Arsenal. The move leading up to and the execution of Babel's goal was absolutely first class.

Aquilani was fantastic. Surely Rafa can see that he's a far superior option to Lucas in the midfield. Maybe not. Rafa plays favourites with Lucas for some reason.

Saw 10 minutes early in the 1st half and thought "Hmm, go to gym or watch the game" ... Didn't like the manner in which we were playing much so begrudgingly got of my ass and went for a workout.

5 minutes down the road and McDermott says the score is 2-nil!

By the time I got back home it was 4-nil then 4-1 and whilst unlikey, the ridiculous odds I got on Liverpool winning 6-0 and 6-1 were some slight semblance of possibility.

Alas, the bets I'd placed were based on a misguided belief that Liverpool would look to find the net for all 90+ minutes, but for some reason we seemed content enough to basically run the clock down for the last 10 minutes.

I did see the replay of Gerrards clash with Brown, and all I can say is that Stevie should probably head out and buy a lotto ticket today, because he has plenty of luck on his side at the moment.

Actually tell a lie, I can say something else - I hope it hurt like hell Brown you useless no talent mongrel hack!!!

It is easy to 'pass the ball around like Arsenal or Barcelona' when the opposition was so poor. Aquilani will also look like a superstar when the opposition is rubbish. Still, it gives them a bit of confidence ahead of their cup final this weekend which is not good for United. Lucas will probably come in for Aquilani anyway. It will be a tough match regardless of recent form as you know Liverpool will be up for it.

I just hope Lille make them work hard as United have the midweek off from European duty.

Why couldn't we start with the same formation and starting line up that played last weekend. ?
Babel and Aquilani/Kuyt/ Benyoun must start IMO and with the recent performances I was starting to think we got it right.
Even Craig Burley said Lucas was hopeless and shouldn't be starting.
In the 2nd half LIverpool were outclassed big time except for the last 15 mins when Babel, Benayoun and Aquilani were on the pitch.

Old Trafford will have to find another 40,000 spectators for the next home match as the AFL season starts and all the crows fans return to footy park. :)

Half time at the St Andrews and it's nil all.
Rodriguez had a great chance to score but hit the crossbar.
Brummies haven't lost at home since September so going to be a big win for the pool if they get up.
Lucas has been at his normal productive self, I keep asking the question, as do millions of others, but we don't pick the side.
I reckon the co-commentator is Roy Evans, though I'm not sure, it does sound like him.
What an over critical, hard task master this bloke must've been, whoever it is.

With all the game time Insua gets I'd like to think he'd be improving a bit better than he is.
Crossing is poor and runs with the ball head down like Milan Baros.
