Cardiff would have the worst squad of the playoff sides. Malky Mackay has worked miracles to keep them in the picture. It would be ironic if they finally got promoted after missing out so many times with superior squads.

I have thought the same thing since they beat Palace on the weekend.
I've also imagined the entertainment that would follow if Blackpool get promoted - not so much the team itself but their manager Holloway, he is one different cat.

Cardiff have definitely had superior teams over the years, their best chance was against Blackpool a couple of years back. They had a quality side then but blew it in the Final. It would be a bit ironic if they did go up but West Ham have a much better squad so that will prove the difference over two legs. Cardiff have done well in big games like their run to the Carling Cup Final so that will at least give them confidence.

Cardiff 0-2 West Ham
Can put this tie to bed, Cardiff are not good enough to go to Upton Park and get a result. Hammers will be going to Wembley

West Ham win 2-1 and are promoted to the EPL
Would need to do a fair bit of recruiting to keep them from going straight back down
